Title: The smallest possible (and hardest) calculator game ever
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on June 10, 2010, 07:01:24 pm
This is quite possibly the smallest and hardest calculator game possible. Simply run from homescreen. You need 26 bytes of RAM.

Darn. I lost :)

How do you export programs from WabbitEmu? I went into Variables, found the program I wanted to export, then clicked Export, but it didn't seem to save anywhere.

You need to drag and drop the variables and stuff outside of that window, for example on the computer desktop

That was...simple. I can never figure out the easiest things.

No problem ^^

This feature of Wabbitemu is not well documented. I only discovered it a few months ago, despite some people knowing about it for almost a year.

I wonder if there's a more spammish randomness topic on the board... :P
Title: Re: The smallest possible (and hardest) calculator game ever
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on July 20, 2010, 11:12:56 am
If the old board database ever returns, there would be plenty :P

Actually there are a lot on the new board, though. The most spammish one would be http://ourl.ca/2962 (it was over 5000 posts on the old board) and every thread by started by Drak :P

* calcdude lost The Game

Lol on the old board, that thread, if we combine both parts, was over 15% of the entire board post count x.x

Quite sad that half of the daily activity was in there at the end, though x.x. I remember having to close the randomness board during SUmmer 2007 to convince people to contribute to more relevant discussion and calc programming instead of devoting their entire time towards spamming.

Don't wonder why the spam board is invisible to guests now :P

I think on the old board, some ppl signed up just to post there. That said, I think the spam board here is still a bit overused, though, but not for spam. I should maybe rename it to random spam and point out that it is m,ainly for discussions involving spam or stuff that may be slightly nsfw, since often, I see good threads being uploaded there (and have to move them out)

Borderom allowed me to port this to Axe Parser. The smallest Axe game ever (32 bytes on-calc)
Title: Re: The smallest possible (and hardest) calculator game ever
Post by: calcdude84se on August 05, 2010, 11:57:31 am
lol nice. Writing the exact same program in ASM gives the same size (and probably the same content), so I won't bother with an upload.
And, of course, I just lost The Game.
Title: Re: The smallest possible (and hardest) calculator game ever
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on August 07, 2010, 02:20:13 pm
Really? I would have expected maybe a few bytes smaller. Again, Axe Parser is getting optimized better and better now ;D
