I saw the post text in the topic list by using tapatalk, so I knew it was an autoplay vid, then couldn't see the vid, so I knew something was fishy. Rickroll, right? :P

By the way shouldn't this be in spam? (Especially since it is kinda spammy and redundant and the auto play that might get people in trouble if they forget to turn their volume off on public comps.)

Fortunately, public computers usually don't have speakers. Unless you bring your own laptop...

Well in many cases, I ran into computers that had internal speakers, which was annoying because if you made a research project on video games or needed to find content for your site project, some sites had MIDI files playing in the background. There is also those annoying ads that have sound.

I had just read down to the exact word 'fishy' when the video loaded and began spurting noise through my earphones.

Ah, the timing...

Ban this bb tag. People can break the site with it.

Omg, that's horrible! There were three nested rick astley vids playing. I had to edit them out for my sanity.

I think we have an agreement. :P I use ABP because of that and don't even think about me whitelisting any website until all of the Internet ads become moderate and sites stop having more bandwidth wasting ads than content. <_< When this time comes I'll just stop using ABP.

Worse: The pop up ads plays the sound of a couple making out and you're not even on an adult site but rather emulation ones. Avoid warez and ROM sites while at school x.x (in hi school, when people had free time they often went there to download games. Back in the days until about late 2002, that kind of file was allowed almost anywhere so you rarely ran into innapropriate ads nor viruses)

By the way at school we were stuck with IE5 and Windows 98, so no adblock. X.x

Trun off the sound and plug earphones. Double security checked! (THe phone plug overrides too the boot sound. Darn you Asus, I want  to boot my computer discretly)

Most computers had audio setting icons missing from the taskbar and most people were unaware about how to access them at the time. Note this was way back in 2000-2002 until the administration completely disabled sound (even through headphones) and we didn't always have headphones nearby (especially during the 2001-02 school year where walkmans, cellphones, MP3 players and headphones got banned from the classroom floor).
