Finally made an account...

I'm rthprog (www.twitter.com/rthprog), and I've spent the last few years of my life coding in TI-Basic on my TI84+SE and TI83+.  I usually spend my time on Cemetech, but the relative lack of activity in the TIBasic subforums drew me here...

A big project that I'm currently working on is DarkFire, a multitasking shell.


Otherwise, I'm dabbling with Python, Javascript, XUL, (elementary) web design, and other geeky things.  w00t.

Oh hey I'm glad you finally joined. This "shell" is pretty nice, I love the option so far. Most BASIC shells usually do nothing more than ASM ones but yours and Eeems' are an exception it seems. Also glad you're working on ADE with Eeems.

I hope you like it around here. Sometimes activity goes down a bit in the help section but there are always calc related talk like in projects and a lot of us program in both BASIC and lib-enhanced BASIC or used to do so.

Anyway welcome here :)

That shell looks awesome!  I can't believe thats possible to look so awesome an a calc...
Anyways, have you gotten peanuts yet, or am i still hoarding them?

This image was taken from google back in 2006 and modified with the Omnimaga logo I used on calc since January 2003 and on the site since 2004. It's a mix of greek chars and lowercase, accessed through the Français 83+ app. In 2008, a new version of this peanut bag had Rick Astley pic added on it with more text :P

That peanut thing is an old Omnimaga meme that has been going on for 4 years and I was surprised when the site re-opened after 6 months of downtime in 2008 that this would still go on :P

I think before the peanut bag, we had a peanut emoticon.

Well the issue is that adding emoticons on SMF appears to be a major PITA, the reason why we haven't got the old emoticons back yet...

hmm maby out of shear lazy ness ditch a old one (replace the image file so it just shows teh peanut instad XD) idk hmm thats a good reason not to though XD
