nah we are very organized, but you just have to get use to it :P
anyways, welcome to Omnimaga!
if you need a good assembly development enviroment, you could always try out my most recent build of ADE (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?board=75.0  http://code.google.com/p/asmdevset/downloads/detail?name=ADEv1.5b_win32.exe&can=2&q=#makechanges) or you could try wabbitcode if you want something that has more features.

Hi and welcome here. Glad you are interested into learning how to program.

Well if you feel it is disorganized, you can provide a better idea for a layout, then we can start a poll if we switch to the new one or keep the current one. I try my best to work on this site in my free time (and pay for hosting it). I don't want way too many forum sections to display directly on the board index, though.

well this is cool!

thx for your help with the assembly programs!

also i have another question... i just tried something that uses xLib on my TI-84 and for some reason no mattyer what i do to enable the xLib any applications that require it just simply say it isn't activated... or basic programs simply crash... (such as this program: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/387/38746.html ) (and this one: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/396/39695.html )

is this caused by the new OS?

p.s. why do i have -1 respect???? and what does respect do anyway? :P

Respect works based on the total of your post ratings. On Youtube you can rate comments. Over here too, except only once per post (you can change your vote later, though), and the total of both positive and negative is added together per person. People who give constructive criticism, have major project updates, helps a lot and the like often receive positive votes. negative votes can happen too but respect goes up quickly sometimes afterward anyway :P

For xLIB, it is the new OS fault. The only solution is to use Celtic III (altough it won't run certain xLIB programs perfectly) or downgrade to OS 2.43 then do a RAM clear

it seems to help... but the programs are all messed up...

this could be either caused by not using xlib and using celtic III instead, or the new OS again...

since now some of the programs run, but have their screens and controls messed up...

Oooh wait!

I forgot something!

That Minesweeper game you linked to, it uses an older version of xLIB IIRC. Maybe it has more issues even with older OSes, idk (or newer calcs). But idk normally stuff should work fine.

Are you currently trying the Celtic III way? Celtic III is awesome and changed TI-BASIC as did xLIB, but the backward compatibility is still not perfect, so some programs will have display glitches :(. SOmething we will have to deal with until E:SoR and CaDan are finished I think.

Otherwise I guess the only solution to play xLIB games that glitch too much in newer OSes is to downgrade to 2.43.

i see...
guess i will just ahve to boycott all the xlib games and programs then... since i kinda fell in love with the new os as well...
the function display for sigmas and integrals are just perfect... and the best would be the recall ability... sigh... lol

p.s. WTF!? now i have -2 respect!!!! :(

Don't boycott them persay, just only use the ones that work with Celtic III or, just live with the graphical hiccups that could happen due to some lack of compatability.

Welcome!  I see I have a fan ;)

Don't take the -1s personally.  Without the ability to express emotion with your words, a lot of times they get misinterpreted (like sarcasm) and a lot of people are really sensitive to that.  I know that really annoyed me in the beginning, but now I double check everything I write to make sure it comes out the way I intended.  A lot of times I quickly edit my posts to fix things right after I post them.
