Hello
« on: January 13, 2012, 05:31:37 pm »
Hey guys!! I been visiting omni for about 2 years mainly for the ndless project and nspire related topics but now that the ndless 3 release is imminent i have finally decided to join.

Okay to tell you a little bit about me. I own every major ti calc. Ti 81, 84se, 86, 92, nspire 2.1 clickpad, nspire 2.1 cas ( thanks to os-launcher), a casio fx-7400, and have spacetime 4.0 running on a pda. I also have used the hp-48. I do no programming( it confuses me).

This is how I found out about omnimaga. I had all these calcs ( i can't remeber how i got so many :o) but I was disappointed with them. So I decided to buy another one and finally decided on the nspire over the classpad and 50g. But after I got my nspire I was met with severe disappointment. I had the non-cas nspire:banghead: and I need a cas calc. I was not fixing to shell out 150 bucks on the cas nspire so I began looking around on the web for a way to run the cas os on the non-cas nspire. That was about two years ago and it was here at omnimaga that I learned of Run-os and ndless. I continued to track the ndless project until last spring when ndless 2 and os-launcher was finally released.

Heya and welcome here. I hope you enjoy your stay. :D Do you program for any of those calculators by the way? I am curious if there are any HP-50G game programmers somewhere in the world too...

No I don't really do any programming. I've have tried programming the ti 84 but for some reason programming the ti84 is really hard for me. For me it is much easier to program the nspire, and I have written some basic math programs, but nothing of any real value. And the hp48 that i have used isn't mine and i have never tried my hand at programming it.

And I have seriously thought about buying the cx cas but honestly I don't need another calc, and everything I could do on the cx basicly could be done on spacetime 4.0.
