Title: Hello, local me = "Tjakka5"
Post by: Tjakka5 on July 26, 2013, 04:08:04 am
Hey guys.

My name is Tjakka5, or TJ for short, and this forum was brought to my attention by "Sorunome".
I've been programming Lua for about a year now thanks to the mod for 'Minecraft' called 'Computercraft'.

Just recently I've started using LOVE2d, a 2d game engine for lua, which I find realy handy.

Further more...
I love Minecraft.
I LOVE ponies.
And I do not have an opinion on 'The Game'.

Thats 'bout all.

Hi there, welcome to omni :)

Do you do any calculator programming by any chance?  A number of them (mostly the more modern ones) have lua available or built-in. ;)

I once wrote an IRC server in lua for computercraft. Maybe you could improve it. There are some bugs in it that are relatively easy to fix, but I stopped playing minecraft.

Can you give me a link to a pastebin or another place that I can acess the code?

Welcome to Omnimaga Tjakka5.

You seem to ignore that you can program in Lua on Nspires and on the Prizm.

Welcome to the forum Tjakka5!
Glad to see yet another Lua programmer out there. While I mostly program Lua on the TI-Nspire, I have done several stuff with Love2D.

note that the Nspire counterpart removes a lot of Lua commands, though, and it's much slower.

Anyway welcome here Tjakka5 :D
