What I thought is something like

To finish registering, you must agree with the forum rules below:

ENGLISH | FRANÇAIS | NEDERLANDS | DEUTSCH | PORTUGUÊS

Then click the "Agree" button below.

Right now it's the 3 first languages in one page and I bet the giant wall of text is kinda intimidating for some new members. X.x

I'm aware of IRC but I've never actually used it. I've seen the logs of the channel and I once found it on efnet.org so I kind of understand how it works.

cool, get an irc client.
for infos on that:
Windows:
  i like xchat, but some ppl like chatzilla? i think that is the other popular one
Linux:
  xchat again, but i personally ( and juju and kittygirl ) use irssi, 'cept it heavily modded
Mac:
  i have colloquy for my ipod, idk about xchat compatability.

Yeah, for Windows there's mIRC (shareware), XChat-WDK and Chatzilla (Firefox extension), for Linux you have xchat, irssi and Weechat (last two in command line, nice if used with ssh and screen on a server) and for Mac you have Colloquy and XChat Aqua. Otherwise you can use http://chat.efnet.org/ or http://chat.mibbit.com/ in browser (use EFNet as server and #omnimaga as channel). I used XChat a lot before switching back to irssi.

IRC is kinda fun for getting help in real time.
