Hello Omnimagians!
« on: November 15, 2011, 04:55:05 pm »
Hello! I have been lurking here for quite a while, and decided it was high time I introduced myself. Mostly because i just remembered I had an account. And I just found this board.

In terms of programming, I used to do TI-BASIC, but now write games entirely in Axe, with basic only used for programs for math. I make games during physics and calculus which include pacman, yet another 2d portal (which is as buggy as a swamp in a rainforest with decaying carcasses), and a couple random original ideas. Sometimes I also get classwork done!

In terms of calcs, I have 3 TI-84+'s. Just because. One of them has a full archive of my old TI-BASIC games. Which are mostly space shooters and platformers.

And now I have wasted some of your time.

I believe I started axe around 4.6, and I would love to post my games, but I seem to have lost my cable. And some of them don't compile anymore. Because apparently abs(x) takes more than one argument.

Unfortunately, all my other devices are micro-usb. I am a sad panda.

dang that sucks. all my old MP3 players have mini-usb's, so I still have one even though I've lost like 4 or 5 of them :P

Which implies you had an account before discovering Omni? O.O

J/k welcome here :). As suggestion for your old games, if you ever get a cable but don't want to update them all, all Axe versions from 0.0.1 to 1.0.5 are still available on the forums here in the Axe section. :) I of course recommend updating them games, though, since some optimizations were added in later Axe versions. :)

Ah, by board I meant the introduction board. Not accidentally dividing by 0. Which I have done before. And i may update all of my games, but there are many. About one for every week I have been in school.

Yeah I understand the feeling. I still need to convert my two Reuben Quest games to xLIB one day. They run in Doors CS7, but they would still be much smaller in true xLIB format (while still running in DCS7), plus I remember when I translated others into English. It was so long X.x
