Title: Hey everyone!
Post by: SopaXorzTaker on August 27, 2016, 03:29:26 pm
I am a 13-year-old (at the time of writing this  :)) kid who likes programming and electronics.
I just bought my TI-82 out of boredom, and I'd like to get into the community  ^-^.
This forum was found literally a day ago, and I think that it's the appropriate place for calculator discussion.
So, I'd like to greet everyone and join the fun!

Hey there, welcome to Omnimaga. The TI-82 is a classic. I'd recommend picking up a TI-83+ or something in the TI-84+ family if you can find one at a reasonable price. They're much more widley used, and the BASIC language is compatible between all of them (the TI-82 included).

Hey @Reverse Flash Thawne welcome to Omnimaga. We tend to frown on necro post (post in an old thread that has no recent activity) in threads that are't our own here. I'd recomment a quick read through the rules (http://ourl.ca/rules). Other than that welcome to the forum. I'm excited to help you learn where I can and to see anything you create.
