Heya and welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy your stay. :)

By the way, in your topic title you say "(again)". Were you a member of a previous Omnimaga forums and came back on this one or did you mean the fact lots of the previous intro topic had the same title?

Also sorry I never heard of boxhead. I should check it out.

Welcome to Omnimaga!
I have heard of boxhead (a flash game, overhead dual stick shooter?)
If you could pull it off without loosing speed and create routines to make as many AI as needed, it would be an awesome calc game

'Ello!  Welcome to Omnimaga!

If by 'Boxhead', you mean this game (http://www.crazymonkeygames.com/Boxhead-2Play-Rooms.html#game) (first result from googling), then I think that if you were to simplify the graphics and coded carefully, it would definitely be possible!

Which calculator(s) do you have, and what programming languages do you know?

wow cheers guys
by the again i was referring to the general use of hi as a title in this section....
yeah and thanks for the peanuts!!  ;D

i've got a ti-84+ se and my dad has an hp 50g which is insane...
i know c++ and i try a bit of game dev with ogre in my free time, though developing with something like axe parser is a world away from oo programming.

i was referring to the crazy monkey game
would it be best in 2d or isometric?
and is there a sprite to hex converter that does more than 8x8 sprites?
thnx again!

2D overhead would probably be easier.
As for the sprites, you can easily make a hex converter in Basic for whatever size sprite you need, or just convert them by hand.  Just look at 4 pixels in a row, then convert the 4 bit binary to a single hex character and repeat.

If you want I can try to make a converter for you, I just need dimensions.  It won't look as pretty as the 8x8 one though, I'm not that awesome :P
