Yo, My name s George and I was recommended this site by a friend. I used to do a lot of programming and such but I started having less and less time over the years. I would love to get back into it and to join you community. Hmmmmmm, let's see here, Some of my hobbies include gaming, origami, building/fixing computers, watching mlp, reading, and just enjoying the peace that comes with life (If there was any). *Ahemm Let's see, if none of you mind I will try and fit in and to not be a nuisance. :w00t:
Peace out

YYAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY, MORE PEANUTS. Thank you, but sadly *Sniff *sniff I have yet to get my hands on a good calc yet. But trust me, I will be getting one soon if it's the last thing I do.
-
OK the I'd recommend you get a TI-84 Plus (even the silver edition which has more memory) to begin with. ;)
-
Cool, I will.
-
Sorunome is telling me that the 89 is more popular for AP calculus in your school though. :P Yes we already know who you are./me has informators
-
The 89 is cool,
*awesome zelda playing memories pop up in sorunomes brain*
-
*Shiver: Alright, I will find something I can afford and use that.

For shoosing a calc, you should think abouth what you realy want.
If you want a big userbase, and you want to be able to download a lot of different games and softwares, you might want to get a calc of the 84+ line (B&W), because it's by far the most popular calc (the popularity is mainly because most schools force their students to buy this kind of calc, it has nothing to do with it's quality)
If you want a powerfull (well, for calc standards) calc, you might want to check out the nSpire line.
If you want a color screen calc that is more open to developpement than the nSpires, you might want to check out the prizm or the brand new 84+CSE
For the other lines of calcs, I'm sure they have their advantages and disadvantages too, but you'll have to ask other people for it, because I don't know much abouth calculators other than the 84+ line (So for everyone that knows more abouth the other lines of calcs, please correct me if I was wrong).
Anyway, have some more peanuts:

Thank you for the information. :)

Well, welcome to Omnimaga!
And you can't have enough peanuts here.

Heya and welcome here. :D I understand where you are coming from about lack of time coding. I was working on a Zelda game for the CSE but then only had like 5 minutes a day to code. I have more time lately but often feel exhausted from work and other things. Hopefully you can get back into programming soon :)

Thank you for understanding, It is kinda annoying how when I get home from work or school I only have like 2 hours before I crash and start again. It does not help that I am always busy over the weekends. *sigh

In my case, the sucky part is that when I am at work, I suddenly get urges to code or make music sometimes, but sadly, they are gone by the time I arrive home. >.<
