Hi, my name is ztrumpet. I program in Basic for the 83/84s. I have an 83+se, 84+se, and an 86. As this is my 501th post, I want 501 peanuts!

:)
-
Epic smiley is epic (http://omnimaga.org/Smileys/classic/afro.gif)
-
how the hell did you get that much posts in that little time :p
OMG I'm not in the top posters anymore xd lol
-
Lol :P, this is nothing, though, compared to me on the old Omnimaga forums in 2006, though :P
-
It's true, he was a postin MONSTA! >:D
-
That can explain my 11000+ post count x.x
-
Because I have over 7 posts a day, per day. ;)
DJ has over 8 though. :)
-
Wow, zTrumpet, you do have a lot of posts per day! O.O Haha, no wonder you were rising the ranks so fast! :P
-
I think earlier this month Builderboy sometimes beaten me up in daily posting, though. Eeems almost did too a few times.
-
When I post more, I go to a point where I don't know what to reply about...
Although in randomness is the easiest place to reply even on those situations.
Welcome ztrumpet (nickname is not strange around... why?)
You deserve peanuts but I eaten the last ones in my kitchen. ;D
-

Yes, Eeems is a posting monster as well. Builderboy is too, but not as much as Eeems.
(nickname is not strange around... why?)
I'm not sure what you are asking. (sorry) If it's what is the story behind my nickname then: My first name is Zach. It's first letter is 'Z'. I play the trumpet. 'Z' + "Trumpet" = ZTrumpet. ;D
-
I suppose I should give you the peanuts :P

-
Yay! Now I have one bag of each type! ;D
-
lol, posting monster :P
well I've been slumbering recently...but I'm trying to catch up again, I wish I could code more, because then I would be able to post more about projects...
-
Yeah I wish your parents would stop being asses :/
as for posting I kinda slowed down in some ways in the past two weeks. I still post almost as much as I did before, but I tend to no longer immediately reply to everything I see on the forums when I come online. Sometimes I may take several hours before I reply
-
That can explain my 11000+ post count x.x
WHAT? THAT'S OVER 9000!!!
-
lol :P
But yeah that makes about 15500 total for just me I think, out of maybe 76000 on this board and the old databases included.
-
lol, wow, I wonder if I'll ever be able to catch up x.x
-
Well, I think in total, the person with highest post count would be Kalan_Vod, with about 2700. Given than he's no longer active, eventually you might be able too at least catch up on him :P
-
lol, probably :P hopefully...
-
Stick around! ^^
It would be cool if you actually got your calc back, though...
-
yeah, and with the end of the semester coming up I hopefully will be getting it back soon.
-
June?
-
Good luck Eeems! I can't wait to be over here while you have a calc. ;D Eeems, you deserve a calc. :)
-
lol, well last day of classes this semester in tomorrow, so as soon as the new semester starts I'll hopefully have it.
-
If your parents didn't plan to have it taken away for the entire school year x.x
-
Good luck Eeems! I can't wait to be over here while you have a calc. ;D Eeems, you deserve a calc. :)
/me suggests using emulator *whistle*
-
/me has been using an emulator, it's just he doesn't have continual access to a comp.
-
plus I don'T recall emulators allowing you to save 8xp files
-
TilEm can. You can "send" a variable like you send from calc to calc.
-
really? Cool then. I wish other more recent emus could, though, because TiLEM only lets me send files one by one and it's annoying when I have a BASIC game with 20+ files...
-
The most recent beta of wabbit let's you do the same.
-
Aaah nice, does it work fine? That's a feature that is nearly essential for emulators when some ppl don't have continual access to a calc :P
-
In wabbitemu you can drag and drop 8xp files out of the calculator to the pc.
You access by F7.
-
it seems to work fine
-
Awesome! The new Wabbit seems really nice!
-
Eeems, have fun. But always remember the past mistakes and especially don't repeat them.
Awesomw! The new Wabbit seems really nice!
It is actually an old feature. But few people notice.
But the new Wabbit actually has new stuff like the linking between emulated calcs and more usable asm debugger.
-
Ah, so is it in the version I have? (0.9.1.0)
Thanks!
Woot, over 600 posts! =D
-
Ah, so is it in the version I have? (0.9.1.0)
Thanks!
I think yes. But why don't you give a try? There is no better way to know things.
The latest Wabbit build is:
http://group.revsoft.org/wabbitemu2.exe
Oh and I almost forgot! It now supports group sending. Yay, that is right, rejoice people.
-
NO WAY!!! Groups!!!
*ZTrumpet instantly downloads. O0

try pressing f7 and find out
-
'Tis a shame ... the only bag of peanuts in this topic is broken.
Well, here you go. ztrumpet. Finally, your peanuts.

/me Walks in noming on peanuts and a piece of a zombies arm. Sees the necromancy
Are you going to eat that?
-
/me distracts Eeems with a bag of peanuts and runs away

Oh goody! Spell components..

hello, welcome to omnimaga! enjoy your stay! What languages do you progam and calcs do you own?

hello, welcome to omnimaga! enjoy your stay! What languages do you progam and calcs do you own?
I program only in TI Basic for the TI 84-SE. I plan to make a complete copy of Black Opps with XLib/DoorsCS5. It's going to be huge! By the way, how do I clear the screen in my programs?????
-
ClrDraw. Some argue the best way is to do:
for(Y,0,62)
for(X,0,94)
PixelOff(X,Y)
end
end
much faster and can get you almost 1 frame per minute, which is a respectable frame rate for shooters like black ops.
-
Oh I get it now!
By the way, this is a program my friend and I came up with. I think it will change the TI-Basic world as we know it:
ClrHome
ClrDraw
ClrRAM
-
you forgot:
GarbageCollect
DefragmentTheWholeDamnThing
sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(sin(3.12
Disp("Hello, World!")
DelVar "TIOS"

Really? I heard that
:0→X
:0→Y
:Lbl LP
:" "→Str1
:Text(Y,X,Str1)
:X+1→X
:If X=95
:Then
:Goto IY
:End
:Lbl CO
:Goto LP
:Lbl IY
:Y+1→Y
:0→X
:If Y=58
:Then
:Goto EN
:End
:Goto CO
:Lbl EN
:Stop
:Stop
:Stop
is much better.
-
What does that do? When I run it I get this pretty Blue Screen with lines. It looks like my calc is very alive. :D
-

for(X,0,94)
PixelOff(X,Y)

On old computers with low RAM, when closing applications, a similar effect happens with the application being closed. It disappears line by line so much it is slow. X.x

Nah just doing DelVar "TIOS" works fine to clear the screen as well.

it is a place you can store programs, but you can only do so by unscrewing the back of the calculator, pulling out some wires, and dumping the data through them. Actually, made it sound hard, pretty easy actually ;)
good luck!

Wow, I never knew this stuf! I really like the

Btw I can't figure out how to get rid of the spaces in "R and int(" to get RandInt(. ???
