Title: New and looking for advice
Post by: on4now4 on December 23, 2012, 01:27:37 pm
Hey guys.  I am new obviously

I do this thing called TSD Rally (Time speed distance) Basically the goal is to cover a couple hundred miles in a car at an exact speed.   There are checkpoints randomly along the way and depending on how early or late you come into the checkpoint you are given points (for every hundredth of a minute).  It is a lot of fun but a very heavily math based sport to stay exactly on time.  Anyway the point of this whole thing...

I have a TI-Nspire CAS and I would really like to write a program for it that will allow me to have my hundredth of a minute clock show on the top of the screen while allowing me to still do my calculations on the bottom of the screen.  Also if there is anyway for me to have two more clocks bellow it I can use as my split times.

I actually think this is a pretty simple program however I know nothing about programing.  Could anyone help me with this maybe point me in the right direction?  What is good resource to get me started on programing for a TI?  Or i mean if anyone feels up for it and wants to just help me out haha

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, nclock will do a single clock on the screen, but I don't believe it has a stopwatch, and it only has one clock
