Hi Everyone!
I'm super awesome, and everyone loves me.
I've been around for just about ever, but my account always seems to be deactivated here sooner or later for some strange reason. I personally suspect z80 gnomes hiding in the software.
That's about it.

Uhm no way I am nikky lol. Two totally different person. I wouldn't be interested in being ticalc.org staff anyway because I am busy and am managing two forums atm, not to mention I want to still keep some time to myself for other stuff such as music or the like, not to mention if I was nikky I would be banned from #Omnimaga and if he was me Netham45 wouldn't have got to increase the banlist cap from 32 hostmasks to 1024 :P
Talking about features suggestions, though, my very first suggestion would most likely be Contra 83, xLIB APP and Robot War: Project Darkstar, even if they all came out 4 years ago

They were worthy of features and never got them..At the times, those were some great programs (amazing, like contra before xLIB and also xLIB was revolutionary for basic games)..

Because they didn't deserve to not get featured, so like Blinded By The Dark and Bowling, I think that in the future, if there's a long period without feature there could be a news about an old program like Michael has been doing for a few years

xLib's been out for quite a while, but if Iambian submits CelticIII, i think that is totally worth a feature.

Lol, he is referring to the Contra 83 issue, where a bunch of people emailed ticalc for it to be featured but then it was not (may have been due to the mass emails). It had seemed (until recently with the Tank game from UTI), that no UTI programs were ever featured. Nikky is just being sarcastic :P

It was a great game, very optimized. It however was difficult for me XD, very ingenious engine and maps.

I do hope it was sarcasm, else you either missed a lot or you have no respect for the hard work put on stuff like F-Zero and Project M and others, not to mention I think Chips Challenge would be the first of its kind to be ever finished for calculators

calc84maniac's programs are good, yes, but they are primarily a front for OTBP, not Omnimaga. Despite the fact that he's staff of Omnimaga, Outside-The-Box-Programming is to whom they will be accredited to.
As for Chip's Challenge, it's also good. But I'm not convinced it has the potential to be featured. Though I could be wrong on that. POSSIBLY.
I don't appreciate being hostilely attacked for my beliefs or opinions. I thought this was a discussion environment free of any hostility for all coders wanting to learn, give or get help, show off their work and/or discuss. :-\

Metagross's last point is true he is being attacked and yes f-zero and project M is otbp considering you see where he has put the demos.
However it was a little mean.

Except that he was also attacking people hard work in the first place. As much as F-Zero might be a OTBP program it's also featured on Omni projects and he's staff here. The program will be released under OTBP, like how Reuben series got released under Epic Programming Studio, but it will still be featured on POTY if it deserves it. Plus, there are few good chips challenge on ticalc.org so one that comes out and is fully graphical and finished should deserves a feature, imho. It will probably get missed, though, because a lot of BASIC programs gets uploaded every week so the author will most likely need to contact Michael.
It's just that the way you worded it implied that all programs in Omnimaga projects section weren't even that good. POTY or not, that sounded pretty offensive and this makes me feel relunctant about even announcing anymore new game here in the future because I was worried you would start dissing them.

no. implication is NOT a legitimate attack, and i stand by this. if i searched for implication in every post, i'd comprehend that you are all spies from nigeria who, finding that your scams do not work as well as intended, will bomb all of Texas's best locations and then do a couple drive-bys near my house, for good measure.
i do not want every quip i say picked apart and dissected, omni. the only thing that happens is that you get offended, and make some sort of personal attack. still, i'm a little peeved now, so let me reiterate this so that there is no hidden meaning. call it a gift.
I do not believe any current Omnimaga-exclusive project has a shot at getting featured on Ticalc, even Chip's Challenge, as nice as it looks. Deal with it. It's my opinion, and I may be wrong, but don't get all bitchy and interpret that as "OMG!! >:( >:( >:( METAGROSS111 SEZ OMNIMAGA IS TEH SUXXORS!!! BADBADBAD!!! >:( >:( >:("
I mean, I was hopeful enough that people wouldn't interpret it that way since I tagged "no offense" to the original post in question. It was kind of insulting how that was interpreted that Omnimaga projects suck and that I have no respect for hard work. I'm more than a little offended, since I hold authors of such projects (like simplethinker and noahbaby94) in high regard, with the effort they put into their projects, in perspective with the effort I will require to finish mine.
In the future, chide me when I actually SAY something condemning. It will save the two of us, plus everyone else, some grief.
EDIT: And one more thing. Since you don't particularly HAVE a project in the works, I suggest you stop defending them. Both simplethinker and noahbaby94 (among the others), are big boys now. They don't need defending. Not getting a feature on Ticalc will hardly break them down to tears, and they care even less about me.

The issue was only the CURRENT projects, not all of them. Neither Chip's Challenge or noahbaby94's LOTR or whatever (sorry noahbaby94, not sure what it was called atm :( ) are even finished yet. they have potential for feature, but clearly not now.
anyway, why are you deleting all that stuff? I hardly find all of those illusiats "wasted time"

I'd never seen that game I'll have to give it a try sometime, also that game came out long before Nikky was staff so who knows why it wasn't featured though I doubt it has anything to do with UTI.

Yeah and you can shoot too and it has the most amazing graphics. You can also get ca$h for more points or change the speed! It even has a shitty story in the broken readme file.

It has always been like this on MaxCoderz, Omnimaga and Cemetech, providing it's not abused and that non-Randomness topics won't turn to spam it's not too bad. If it gets out of control, though, topic-splitting time

Metagross: I understand it is your opinion and you are able to express it. But it is not something that should be shown at 100%, you could unmotivate someone where they do not finish their project or even quit programming on this line (z80, PC, 68k etc..) I would think it be best to just go by the old expression: "You can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all." I know you will think "why should I listen to this kalan guy, he does not even work on any calc projects", well I actually do and am close to releasing some..
As far as telling kevin not to defend the other guys, kevin has an enormous gift of caring. He defends others, even if they do not need it themselves. But you should also keep in mind, this is kevins board (all of ours, but is kevins ultimately). I hope you reconsider what you say in the future.
