Cheers! Its the guy you all love and know (well, maybe not love, and probably hate), Loki! I felt left out whenever someone started a "where'd you get your nick?" thread. I mean, having to post "its my name" just doesn't cut it for me. So, i decided to use this.

I think this died when loki lost comp access. I finished Metroid but then I didn't do any new game then Floodkiller retired, from what I read in an old MC posts :(
Maybe it could be revived though, altough not as a TI calc group, given that there are alerady too many TI groups/forums/communities for the current demand (Ticalc, Calcg, TICALCS.net, Revsoft, OTBP, Cemetech, MaxCoderz, United-TI, Omnimaga, Detacheds, TI-Freakware, TI-BASIC Developper, BrandonW forums, and I'm sure I forgot a few) and few of them are regulary active, calculator-wise, so it might be better if it had some stuff other than calculators too maybe. Also something like in the french community might be good too. In the french community there were a lot of sites but each used a common forum. I think Cemetech used to be like this back when they were on Geoshitties and Invisionfree

used to not have Joshua, but when I got confirmed we ( dad and i ) went to the state department and got an official name change. I'm technically Joshua now, but it's still easier to go by Joe among my familiars.

To me it doesn't really matter if ppl know my name or not because if there are 4 people called Kevin Ouellet only in my city there must be a lot in the world, not to mention all the variations of Ouellet such as Ouellette and Ouillette in France and USA
Idk if Loki is really Joseph though, since on MSN and MaxCoderz forums (bakc in 2005) he mentionned a totally different name from what I remember
Of course if I met a TI community in real life it would be cooler if I knew his real name though, because it would be weird in the street if I was called DJ Omnimaga or if I tried to pronounce tr1p1ea, aaroneusthegreat, nitacku, etc... evne worse for me considering I speak french... I even have difficulty saying "rick roll" so imagine :P

@kalan_vod I actually thought about a skype (if I can get it for free, because in Canada I don't think Skype was free last time I checked), ventrillo or TeamSpeak convo at one point, altough it would need to be planned in advance since a lot of us are busy and are not on every night. Teamspeak seemed a bit hard to get to work though, at first i wouldn't be able to connect to the server, then when I did, another person couldn't anymore and there was someone we couldn't hear until he reconnected.

It would be awesome though. And for the record, my full birth name is Jackie (call me that i keel you.) Lee Ogle, but even in rl i go by Loki, although my mother refuses to call me that. She'll call me Jack, though. Joseph Marin is one of my pennames and reoccurring character name ^_^. Soon enough I'll have internet constantly and unconditionally, so joining on teamspeak or skype would be feasible. Also, if someone did take the effort to find me in rl cos I gave my name on t3h intarwebs, i dont think i'd mind too much. i'm lonely here! ^_^

j/k but you would be scared if i tried to pronounce some of the nicknames though :P
At least Omnimaga is pronounced the same way in french than in english tho :P
Also when talking in english in englsih classes back then I sometimes accidentally told numbers in french x.x, especially when they were written in digit form rather than text form

Yeah I had an RPG going for a while. Had a fair chunk of it done, too. Sadly in all the excitement of being homeless and moving from place to place, I lost my 84+SE and all my work. Not only of the rpg but several small games and everything =/. Anyway yeah I'm back online and in a stable environment. I'm currently working on learning C++ and getting my graphics design cert, and getting barely nowheres.

ouch this sucks about your calc and stuff, I am glad that you are in safe place now, having to move from place to place must suck and appartments are so expensive x.x. Mine (with 2 bedrooms size) is $560 right now and after June it will be $576 a month and that's without internet bill, phone, electricity. Hot water, water and electricity used for heaters is included in the rent, though. Fortunately I live with my bro right now so we split the costs.

$600 is the going rate around here for an apartment about that size. But I fortunately live with two other people. And one has a nice job at Sprint, where hopefully soon I'll get a job ^_^;

cool, I do hope they can be trusted though. Advice, if you see that one seems to be causing trouble or start delaying paying the rent or the like, take precautions, like, saving money or something, to be able to move elsewhere if something bad happens
