Yeah

With the height limit now 256, I built a mushroom tower that goes to 256. From there, I can barely see the clouds :P
It's fun afterwards falling 250 blocks to bedrock

Extra height + Flatland generation makes everything bigger :P

I wish notch would give us vertical redstone...

Ooh, crazy mod idea: Wireworld behavior for redstone!

IMO the coolest thing about Indev is the limited map. Other than that, pretty much everything upstream is an improvement in my mind.

Personally, I'd rather have a block that sends redstone signals between servers. That shouldn't be too difficult with sockets and Java.

I have a mod for wireless redstone. You can change the frequency of the redstone in Hz. Also, I have an Arrows mod, which let's you have tnt, lightning, egg, ice, and fire arrows. The too many items mod is awesome, it gives you every block in minecraft, letting you convert saves from survival to creative, and letting you make awesome creations in survival mode.

I don't see why any one would restrict the others....wireworld-style, vertical, wirelessly connectible redstone that can reach across servers? :P

By the way, wireworld redstone would eliminate the length problem and make ticks a lot faster.

And I reopened my server on mc.julosoft.net. I restarted everything from scratch (don't worry I still have backups of the last incarnation). For security measures you have to sign up and post in the introduction thread on my forum at http://forum.julosoft.net/ to get whitelisted (make sure to read the FAQ), feel free to suggest plugins and other stuff on the Minecraft sub-forum. Thanks alberthrocks for mentioning me this $7/month VPS with 2GB RAM earlier this month :P
