Others unable to connect to server

I have my minecraft server running on my old laptop, and it works fine, others can connect to it.


I wanted to a small survival server for just me and my friend, on my new laptop.


Others can't seem to connect, I port forwarded the same way I did on my old laptop, I make firewall exceptions, but no dice.

Did you remember to update the ip it should forward to? It's possible that your router tries to forward the packets to your old laptop.

Yes, it forwards to my new laptop, my old server is up, and on port 25565, and I want the new one on a different port

Fixed it, antivirus had an additional setting I needed to edit.
