Haiku
Or
I walk in the woods.
A creeper jumps out at me.
It explodes and creates a gigantic hole.
I fall in and die.

Anyway for my own one.
Err...
There were signs that people had been here already. A nice building with a roof of glass and lots of glass windows greeted me. To me it looked like a safe haven and was well lit with torches. Inside the building lay a body of water and wooden planks arranged around it. There were also weird square shaped things floating on the water. I decided to right click on one, fell a short distance and died (this is a bug yet to be fixed). So much for a safe haven. I landed somewhere outside the building and noticed a sign posted on the west door as I approached the building. It said Dock - A Safe Haven. Licensed to hold 4 boats. Sure enough, as I entered the "safe haven" I counted the weird square shaped things floating on the water. There were four. So this time I carefully right clicked one of the "boats" and hopped in safely. After some experimentation, I managed to steer the boat around to the north side of the dock, where double doors awaited. It took me some trial and error, but I managed to open both doors and steer the boat out of the dock. I decided to paddle east down the beautiful river. Again I saw some sign that people had been here before with a very straight passage of water two blocks wide leading into a huge ocean. Well not really a ocean because I could see the land on both sides. Again at the end of this "ocean" there was an underground cave with another straight water passage two blocks wide and just fit me and the boat. At the other end of the water passage, there was a huge ocean, and it was an ocean this time...

To be continued...

This story is based on my Minecraft map which isn't very advanced, I haven't even found diamond yet and am still sort of a beginner to Minecraft. But I built a big dock and a mostly underground base too.

Not sure if this is really a story, hoped you enjoyed reading...

Nice story, mine is

You dont know who you are or anything, you make a name for yourself, annoyingcalc.
You set off to go to the top of a cliff tear up some trees and make a picaxe to tear up some more.
You make your house, a one story house with a bed, furnace, pressure plate for easily closing doors, and a crafting table, a standard house.
Afterwards, you are kinda bored and make a second story to my house add another bed and a chest for my valuables. more comin later

ooh... mine's rather long, as this particular world is a mod testbed :P
First, there was a generic character in a generic minecraft world. He punched trees till his hands bled and dug himself a hole in a hill. Later on, he built a lucrative mine in his house and planted wheat outside.
Eventually, He discovered how to transmute items into other items(this is where mods come in, specifically EqEx)
Sadly, he lost this secret, but instead focused on finding new plants, specifically rhubarbs and eggplants(Runecraftory)
After losing these valued crops in a failed TNT experiment, he decided to build a bridge over a river for no particular reason.
He then went on to build various pipes and machines, including an automatic quarry(Buildcraft 2.25 this time)
Now, after discovering that engines overheat if you don't cool them (:P), He built a zeppelin and flew away into the (square) sunset, never to return again(his body was later found in the Nether, surrounded by pork chops and slain enemies)

He ran far, dug deep.
Killed the Dragon mighty.
The dream is now seen.

(On hardcore without mods ftw  ;D)

I built a nether portal far away from my spawnpoint, hoping to get back to my base more quickly(because distances are shorter in the Nether :P)

Beds are a cheaper way to handle that: They change your spawn.

I dig a lot of stone to find diamonds, only to fall into lava, have my water bucket fail, and lose a lot of iron and gold.

Right next to the lava pit
Few missteps later

Alternate endings:
1. I get blown by a creeper
2. I get shot by a skeleton
3. I hit the ground too hard.
4. I suffocate in a wall.
5. I get slain by zombie pigmen
6. I accidentally drop my sword, so I have to use an axe to fight enemies until I can craft a new sword. Luckily, I get home alive with all my diamonds possessions intact.

My Minecraft world story was "I hate griefers".
