Title: {E} Blazing Void
Post by: {AP} on April 25, 2009, 12:30:14 am
I started doing some techno again.
Well, it's not done... but here's what I've gotten so far.

I've kinda gotten stumped as to how to continue this... I'll think of something though.

Any thoughts on it so far? =D

mhmm i think this is your best so far (techno I mean). THere are still not a lot of bass, but it seems to be getting there, because of the lower notes in the main melody, which sounds quite good imho. Basslines are really hard to make though, I always have trouble with that. I think this is what takes me the longest amount of time when making a song. Also I wonder if you could add some string pads? That might make the song a bit more melody ^^

anyway nice job

Got some work done on it.
Still needs work and I'm still in the 'testing phase'.

Who knows if I'll ever get a real bassline in this.. >_<

Nice, getting better and better :)

As for bassline, as I said this is one of the hardest part when making songs. I can spend 3 hours just on this part then when I finished the entire song after 5 hours I am still not satisfied about it. Actually, in some of my songs the bass is too loud or not loud enough sometimes or it's erased by other sounds

Had I still got Sony ACID installed I could have helped you more about this. altough it would have prbly be just a small song clip, it could maybe help. In fact that's how I helped nitacku to have better bass in his songs (took his demo wav file, added bassline over it, saved, then showed him the result about what i mean)

On a off topic note I think you got a PM (I need to find a better PM notificator system than pop ups. For me and netham45, it's not a problem, because as administrator, a forum display bug in 1024x768 causes the navigation bar to become bigger in height since we got one more option x.x)

you crazy sytrus arpeggio cheater :P j/k

Not bad. Needs some serious bass though.
What program did you use to create this?

Another really good synthesizer is called Nexus.
You'll have to torrent it, but it definitely kicks ass. (even more so that sytrus)

Yeah... I lack bass... as always... >_<

As for program, I use Fruity Loops Studios 8 XXL.
I use Sytrus like crazy and Nexus is hell to get. >_<
All my attempts have failed.

I'll have more done tomorrow hopefully.

Does Nexus takes a lot more ressources than Sytrus?

No, thanks, unless you want 1and1 to delete Omnimaga and TIMGUL, I took the link down from the site database.
