Title: Dream of Omnimaga Music (eurodance, hardcore, power metal, vgm)
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on December 22, 2006, 03:01:00 pm
As some of you here know, besides calculator programming I also did electronic music. I'd say my electronic music is more on the extreme side, although there have been more and more exceptions in recent years as I explore new horizons. Almost everything made from 2002 to 2017 and since Summer 2022 began was made entirely using a Playstation 1 emulator with Music 2000/MTV Music Generator software. I mostly produce UK hardcore, happy hardcore, eurodance (90's style), power metal-inspired music, video game soundtrack and to a lesser extent ambient stuff. Since 2022 I've been producing plenty of italo-disco and synth-pop too.

on the PSOne it was as easy, but I had no way back then to record TV sound on tape :(sad.gif and my CD broke so I use an image of it plus an emu. However due to the fact epsxe take lot of ressources when recording I must press record button in audacity, minimize window in taskbar, start playing the song in the emu and do nothing else until finished, so i wont get slowdowns during recording

Some songs I did in the last two weeks, all electronic dance/rave music:

The first three songs were made with Caustic 3 software for Windows/Android and the last song was made with MTV Music Generator/Music 2000 for the original Playstation.

I have begun fixing up a few songs from my album Maze of Life that I made while learning Caustic 3 software with no access to my MTVMG sample bank in late 2018 early 2019. I already updated Moon Knight 2019 last year and now I am updating Califourchon with a 2021 mix: https://djomnimaga.bandcamp.com/track/califourchon-2021-mix

Here is another electronic power metal song from me called "Return to Omnimaga". It's kind of an hommage to my song "Ancient Kingdom of Omnimaga" from the album of the same title and uses many sounds from MTV Music Generator. It also pays hommage to my other Caustic software power metal songs.

I am pleased to announce that my new electronic power metal compilation, "Ancient Kingdom of the Knight of the Moon", is now released. This compilation features all electronic power metal that I've released since October 2014 until the release of "Illegal Music Chemistry II", as well as some video game music produced from 2012 to 2019. This compilation is meant for people who are mostly into rock/metal music and less into dance/electronica.

In addition to that, my newest album, "Illegal Music Chemistry 2", is now out as well! It features eurodance and uk hardcore remixes, as well as new electronic power metal that returns to my power metal roots.

I released another compilation of songs a few weeks ago. It's called Free Traxez and as you can probably guess from the title, it's actually free to download. Just enter zero in the price field after clicking "Buy". All tracks are also available for free from the album pages they came from, but this new compilation allows you to download all of them at once without having to search for them.

It looks sharp! The shadow of the old logo makes it stand out more on a white background but I suppose that doesn't matter much given your track/album backgrounds.

Thanks! And yeah I wanted a logo that could work on light color backgrounds easier without having to use a shadow. But yeah you're right, most of my backgrounds end up dark lol.

Also the logo changed again, with the white part being thicker. This should be the final version now:

I am currently in the process of preparing three releases, one of which is already available in the first post, but I'll make another post later with a copy of the URL and my landing page. Here are the releases in the works:

-Hatansion: Physical CD release in jewel case. Digital release available with bonus track in previous post.

-Another Decade of Magic Hardcore (2013-2022): Digital compilation release (includes all hardcore genre songs from the aforementioned album)

-Hardcore Trifecta: 20 Years of Magic Hardcore: Physical release only. It is currently available at https://www.trepstar.com/purchase.asp?idpub=62740&mode=all (it's a DVD case with 5 CD's in it)
(https://djomnimaga.codewalr.us/otherfiles/ThumbLargeDVDFront1.png) (https://djomnimaga.codewalr.us/otherfiles/ThumbLargeDVDBack1.png)

Hardcore Trifecta is essentially both my hardcore compilations (including Another Decade of Magic Hardcore (2013-2022), which comes out in April on the 10th anniversary of its predecessor) combined together with 5 bonus tracks.

Here are my newest songs (some of which are not hardcore):

Dream of Omnimaga, my 20th full-length album, this time filled with happy electronic power metal is now released on Bandcamp! This is also my first release under my new nickname "Dream of Omnimaga", which the album title shares.

It will be available on TIDAL , Qobuz , Apple Music and Youtube Music in the next few weeks. Although it will also be made available on Spotify I recommend using an alternate streaming platform because Spotify will stop monetizing less popular music tracks starting in 2024.

My new album Hardcore for the 21st is now out at the above URL and at other stores:

It only includes hardcore music (some of which will probably be eventually remade into electronic power metal or vice-versa).
