And there we go, I'm trying to make covers. Let's play a little game, guess what I just tabbed, if you can read music. ^_^
-
Tabs as in guitar music? Do you play the guitar Juju? I've been sorta wanting to learn.
-
This is indeed a partition for guitar (which I play), the bottom key represents each of the six strings and the numbers are the fret number.
Also, before anyone asks, I'm using Tuxguitar.
-
Too easy! Obviously Magic Hardcore =P Now just transcribe the rest of the song... haha Great song though.
EDIT: I disagree with your tempo though, it should be about 172bpm actually
-
Yup, that's it :) I didn't bothered looking at the tempo yet, but thanks for the indication ^_^
-
Nice. If you are looking to do a cover of the song in guitar, though, you might want to do some sort of Metal of Time cover actually, since the song is kinda similar. I can't wait to hear what you got, though.
-
Well, obviously this one in the first post is the chorus, the rest is slight variations of said chorus and with that you can do most of the song. I think this song (and others in the same dance/hardcore genre) would sound nice on an acoustic guitar, kinda à la Igor Presnyakov. Otherwise, if you want a more electric sound (on electric guitar), the metal songs (the ones on TotKotM and AKoO) are more well suited for this.
-
Do you have any software/equipment (such as a pedal) to get distorted guitar sounds? It would be nice since you could do rock music and stuff :D
-
I have no pedal, but I have the equipment and software to plug my guitar to my computer, distort the sound and record it. So yeah it would be real nice.
-
That's cool then. I know a VST plugin that can do it but I don't think it uses a real guitar and they're not free. D: It probably won't let you do bends either (unless it has pitch bending filters like MTV Music Generator which let me do some of the bend effects in some of my electronic solos)
-
Garageband (Mac) and Rakarrack+Jack (Linux) easily does the job. Dunno for Windows though.
-
There might be LMMS which is free (and has a Windows version).
-
Yeah, LMMS is a free and open-source clone of FL Studio, they both might be able to do that too.
-
Little note here, I started tabbing music for guitar and cello (as my mom started playing cello), that should be pretty interesting. It needs practice though.
-
Cool to hear. Please post a MP3 or video when you have some recording done :)
