Title: new italo-disco song and preview of some other unfinished songs.
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on October 31, 2009, 04:20:35 am
Ok, so I made another song, worked on and off on it. It's a quite short song, though, and more italo-disco style (also close to early '90s eurobeat, which originated from italo-disco). Here is it below:

I also posted a preview of the song as well as 3 others there:

Nice, nice! Although I'm not really a fan of the music newer than ~1900, I certainly appreciate this.

Well done DJ, recently I've been really appreciating softer music then my normal music, and this was really good

Wow thanks, can I ask what kick drum and snare you used? I want to try some Italo.

I really enjoyed eurobeatizer. Of the other 3 songs previewed, I thought the 1st one was ok, but the second and third I like alot.

The first song is amazing, like ztrumper I'm still listening. The drum sounds identical to "Blue Monday" by New Order.

It is similar, but I think the one in DJ's song is brighter and has a bit more of a sharp hit to it. I don't have a good hq version of Blue Monday to compare to though. This is just from comparison to a version of Blue Monday posted on YouTube.

Yeah, they're not very good rips. Plus all the compression rubbish YouTube feels the need to do.

yeah Youtube really killed the compression, I really recommend downloading it from the archives here
