Title: TaQ Is Missing
Post by: SuperSampleStar on October 28, 2012, 04:46:43 pm
This remix is basically a taste of what I have to offer, and basically is what my alias is all about (I.E. using samples).  This is a combination of 5 songs...

Missing - Everything But The Girl
Holic - TaQ
Symbolic - TaQ
QQQ - TaQ
Indigo Vision (Full Flavor Hide Around Mix) - TaQ

Hope you enjoy (^^)v

Pretty cool! I actually like the remix of 'Missing' more than the famous remix (although I am partial to the more acoustic-based original).

Wow pretty old skool. I actually prefer your Party Rock Anthem remix but this one is nice too. :)

He used the PC version of Music 2000. It dates back in 2000 (the PS1 version 1999) and lacks VST plugin support, but it still lets you do some cool stuff if your computer can run it. The PC version of Music 2000 allows unlimited importing of WAV samples (hence the remixes he can create with it), while the PS1 version only allows about 4-16 seconds, depending of the quality, but the reverb effects are way better in the PS1 version.

^this pretty much

I've always been a fan of remixing songs rather than composing original works.. hell, i even remix my OWN songs (the Organ City series is a good example).  But yea, people look at me like I'm some kind of Wizard or something when i tell them i use Music 2000... either that, or i usually get the people that try to get me to convert to fruity loops, sony acid, or garage band

And for the latter part some are usually obnoxious or ignorant about it. I remember someone telling me my music rocks, then when I said it was Music 2000 they completely changed their mind. >.<

Same thing used to happen on some calculator forums when programmers used TI-BASIC language instead of ASM.
