I was searching through mah computer and I found this; my old unfinished work of mine XD

Whoa !
Just listened to it. This is EPIC ! I only found two problems. It is too short, and it is in midi. The problem of the midi is that the sound seem to be from a game boy.
Anyway, great work !

I actually like MIDI because it can easily be converted to various formats like stuff that sounds like a bridge between NES and Megadrive music (GXSCC) or put in SNES ROM hacks.
Anyway sounds awesome, it would definitiviely fit well in a game. I would make the drum percussion stronger, though.

What I do if i can't increase the volume further is decrease the volume of everything else.

Would you mind if I made a remix/remaster of this song in FLStudio? It truly is an piece of epic music, and I mean that in the sense as it is the music of an epic tale, reminds me of Hyrule ^^

Here is my version/remaster :D I converted it to a more orchestral version, and reworked the percussion to be less prominent, as I wanted to let the melody shine :) I hope you like it!

Nice. You should make one with the original percussion, though. It was quite nice too. It reminded me some Ys music :D

Yeah I just took La Porte du Soleil, cloned the riffs and drum loops then changed them. I whipped this sample in about 15 minutes. :P

Yeah it is. Making La Porte du Soleil took 7 hours, and that's because I had the entire idea done 10 years ago.

Music can take months to create. Or as in La Porte Du Soleil you can have ideas in your head for years. I have a few myself. Anyway I really like this song, it sound like it's got a bit of culture in it (can't name a specific culture though), and interesting to see the different covers.

I've probably spent many hours trying out ideas and then ending up hating them and deleting them :P

Necropost, much? But yeah I remember this song and it was quite nice despite the short lenght. I still need to do the cover I planned to do for a while. I'm just unsure if I'll do a fast one or a slower one. It would work nicely as intro to an album.
