Title: Timgul Rave Remix
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on January 18, 2008, 04:21:00 am
Ok, for those who don't know, aside from Omnimaga I also run another forum called TIMGUL, which stands for "The International Music Generator Users Lounge". It is a board entirely devoted to MTV Music Generator and its derivative/sequels/prequel. Aside from music made using those programs there isn't much to view there though. There is like 500 posts and 20 members total lol. However there are many, MANY music to download by various people. So what I decided to do is to make a DJ mix of various tracks from there. I picked many music genres to satisfy everyone on the TIMGUL forums. This means trance, house, happy hardcore, uk hardcore and drum and bass. You can get the track listing (and the mp3 file) here: http://mtv-music-generator.com/index.php?showtopic=163 (http://mtv-music-generator.com/index.php?showtopic=163)

Credits for the songs goes to their respective owners.

Now that it is done I can go back to my 10% possible new calc project idea brainstorming ^^

EDIT: Btw this feel pretty weird to be the admin of a forum and be the only active member from North America (everyone else is from United Kingdom) and be the youngest member (other members are between 26 and 45 years old o.o), while on this board it's the complete opposite

Is it a bad thing that I just kept fast forwarding to your tracks? Haha, great stuff and interesting idea you had to so this mix. I am happy you are still working on this of this nature, and the brainstorming of a calc project got me going! :P

I think they just burned the site to the ground.
The link you posted brings up a 403.

yeah my account got suspended by 1and1 for spam abuse. I am wondering whats that attack because one of the site file is being flooded with requests non stop. It surely seems like a DoS attack or somehting similar. Prbly due to an exploit in IPB 1.3.

No wonder why Omnimaga still uses Invisionfree

EDIT: I don't want to accuse anybody but I find very interesting that this attack happens only 2 weeks after http://omnimaga.dyndns.org (http://omnimaga.dyndns.org) was taken over by an user from #TCPA IRC channel and a few hours after a guy from this channel joined the channel to troll then left a few mins later

Welll it was finally an hacking. Apparently IPB 1.3 have full of security holes (not the invisionfree one tho). I'll need to find a 3rd party security patch or switch to another software
