On September 22nd, 2001, DJ_O releases the first of a series of RPG games for the TI-83+ line. It has been remade 3 times, including a version for the ancient TI-81.

Huzzah! The Illusiat series is quite possibly my favorite set of TI-83+/84+ RPGs, and Illusiat 11 was the first RPG I ever played on my TI-83+.
I'm glad to see it turn 10 years old.
-
Happy anniversary to the Illusiat series! :)

You realize that annoyingorange was not even a year old when I started working on this game?? O.O
-
I was four!!! How old are you? (If that is not a rude question)
Anyway, Illusiat 6 is dysfunctional. How do I work the menus?
-
25 lol. Actually I started programming at 14 (I turned 15 4 days afterward). I'M unsure what's wrogn with i6, though. Have you ungrouped it on the computer then sent the files separately afterward? If you don't do this you have to use a black serial link cable with TI-Graph Link, else the game won't work. Otherwise I'm unsure. All I know is that the game only runs on OS 1.14 or lower. Try Nemesiat maybe? (It's almost the same game, but runs on the 82 STATS and 84+ too and works on every 83+ OSes and it misses the hard mode)

I started programming when I was like six or seven. I got serious last year though.

Clever!

I've been programming for about two-three years. I only got serious about 3 months ago, however.

Yeah to clarify, there are 2 remakes:
-2001 - Original 83+ game
-2003 - Illusiat 12+ROL2 style 83+ remake, bundled with similar remakes of Illusiat 2, 3 and 4.
-2008 - TI-81 remake
-
Hey DJ, did anyone ever get the chance to make an english version of the 2003 remake?
-
I did over a year ago, but then I lost interest in continuing it then when I backed it up (twice), in one occasion it got corrupted on my computer due to TI-Connect. The other version was saved fine if I remember, but I do not remember if I still even have it on my computer anymore.
With the many complains regarding large files and games from 2005 to 2006 and in early 2009 (ironic considering most of them came from Silver Edition calc owners) I was more thinking about splitting all remakes into individual games after translating them, though, but I did not have the motivation to do so, not to mention doing so would make more sense if I also spent the effort to optimize those games in the process too. Actually the plan for Illusiat 1 and 2 was to merge them together then add some sort of Illusiat 1.5 between both and other stuff, then release them as Illusiat I & II: 10th Anniversary Edition or Illusiat: Rise of the Deltamorphs. The character levels of the starting character would have been transfered over the second game character, as the story transitions into the second game, in the same fashion as Ys I and II on the Turbografx-16/NEC PCEngine.
Illusiat 3 and 4, if split from the game pack, would have remained unchanged.
