Title: Activity increase over the entire year 2009
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on April 24, 2010, 04:24:52 pm
Since earlier today, Omnimaga have more posts in 2010 than it did in the entire year of 2009. It already have beaten 2005 and 2008, although those were not complete years. Next month, it is most likely going to beat 2007 too. Here are the statistics over the years (all complete years in bold):

03/03/04-09/10/04: 60
05/12/05-12/31/05: 9457
01/01/06-12/31/06: 30132
01/01/07-12/31/07: 15898
01/01/08-03/04/08 & 08/25/08-12/31/08: 3783
01/01/09-12/31/09: 15004
01/01/10-04/24/10: 15028

However, due to exams, several users have become inactive and overall forum activity decreased too, although it is still above January and February levels and considerably higher over last year. April 2010 looks like it will get very close to 5000. It also looks like TI-Nspire stuff attracts a considerable amount of traffic from Google, as the news section regularly has around 10 guests viewing it and the online list always has guests viewing TI-Nspire related discussions.

As for Axe Parser, its sub-forum is now also available through a shorter URL for people who want to access directly but cannot bookmark it (public computers, Deep Freeze, etc.). The URL is http://axe.omnimaga.org .

That's cool.

The Axe link is awesome!  Great job getting that working!  That's super convenient! ;D

Nowadays, I don't have enough time to read all the posts, and sometimes misses some of them because there are just too many.
And nice! It should make people with limited access easier to get to axe page!

Same here (as you can see by my late reply x.x)

Last week was pretty rough and I'm still not feeling that good, and I am busier lately, and more tired. SOmetimes I'll read new posts, but will just skim through them. I will reply later when I have more free time.

And despite still being very high in overall, forum activity decreased a lot compared to what it was in mid March and Early April. In fact, today we just ended our 100+ posts day streak and it has been a week since we last had 200. It doesn't help that SirCmpwn got grounded, Meishe is busy, Ztrumpet appears to be coming around less and less often (grounded too?) and that some other projects are less active. I guess exams doesn't help either. Just hoping it's one of those things, not just a lack of interest or something. It would suck considering the recent innovations x.x
