It's been over a decade since James Vernon made public a demo of Alien Breed IV for the TI-83 series calculators, but this April we learned (http://ourl.ca/13199/) he wasn't quite done with calculator programming when he released AB IV and Invaded. In late September, he published yet another massive game in the series: Alien Breed V is here!
For those of you who aren't familiar with JamesV's games, AB5 is a top-down shooter with an incredible length and variety of maps and features:

It's awesome to see an active game designer stick around with us so long—fifteen years means he's been around longer than the TI-83 Plus. For more information about JamesV's experience here, he's participated in interviews for both ticalc.org and TI Story:

Wasn't it already released a few months ago? It is still a epic game :P

Yeah, seems we never actually made a news about it. Now I'm here trying to help catch us up on some well-deserved news. So much to write haha

Yeah there are quite a bit of programs that got no news for some reasons and some pending features for older programs as far as Jetpack8x, due to me not posting as many calc news afterward and staff being busy in general. >.<

That was fast 0_0

Nice job James!
This reminds me of Swords & Serpents -- a game that I loved.
