Builderboy demoted from Manager

We are sorry to announce that Builderboy has been demoted from his Omnimaga manager status, to return to his original Coders of Tomorrow one.

The reason for this was due to him no longer doing administrative tasks anymore on the forums, not being active enough anymore to be manager and also due to the violation of an Omnimaga Manager group rule forcing all managers to check their forum inbox everytime they login and reply to important administrator discussions (to participate or to let them know the PM was read), which happened three times in 2011, despite warnings.

We are sorry to have to do this and we hope that his activity towards calculator programming and the forums will return to its level from a few months ago or last summer.

Indeed. I hope he returns. I kinda wish he checked his admin PMs sometimes too so that wouldn't happen. Most of the time when we had important discussions we had to fight to get him to check, most of the time Eeems bugging him over Facebook or e-mail for a day or two until he does.

The weird thing is that this happened even when he wasn't busy, like when he averaged at 20 posts a day for a while in March or April, and he told me he had PM notifications enabled. ??? But sadly rules are rules, and it kinda got frustrating to have to wait days and days to get admin stuff done, since to do important actions such as tonight, it required most admins approval or a majority. :/

Where is BuilderBoy? I seriously hope he's working on his Axe Entry 24/7, but if he was, then he should get sometime to come here :) I hope he's alright and that he can come back soon :) Until there and as someone said, we will miss you :)

That's :( I wish he was just working on his axe contest program all the time but I somehow doubt that. I wish you luck with anything you have to deal with in your life.

Well to be honest, given what I heard via PM about his job, I am afraid in two weeks we might even see a news stating his demotion from CoT and removal of Portal X sub-forum, because seeing his activity right now since he got his job, I have serious doubts he'll ever post enough to remain staff. What I worry more, though, is that when people get so busy for an extended period of time, they also lose interest over time, so I get worried it might be a goodbye to Builderboy.

As for if he remained around, though, I doubt he could ever become admin again, due to what happened. Maybe in one year or two, but otherwise I don't know.
