ColorTetris

http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=742

Hello, here i am with the official first ColorTetris!

Features:
-3 modes: marathon (survive as long as you can), 40 lines (erase 40 lines as fast as you can) and time trial (race against the clock)
-Every mode has 3 highscores, names included! (at the beginning they're all called "0 - name" (as you can see in the movie), so 9 highscores in total
-Ghostblock, only with those L and reversed L blocks there's a small bug that it displays it one block too high.
-Controls with arrows, 4, 8, 6, 2, p(ause), r(estart), enter and tab.
-Instant dropdown (enter)
-FULL COLOR, but it also works for B/W calcs (not cx), with a white background for visibility

Looks cool!  It's nice to have development for the Prizm.  I'm getting one this week, so I'm waiting to try it out!  :D

EDIT: Yeah, nice reading, Ralph.  :P

Prizm? that's a casio, isn't it? this one is written in lua, so i suppose it's only for the TI nspire xs or do i get it wrong?

Nick, I found that sometimes the entering of the name for the highscore list doesn't pop up.  The first time I played marathon, I waited, but then pressed enter and it recorded it down in your name... Second time I pressed "2" on accident and it came up.
I find that on the 40 lines mode that it doesn't record at all... :\

The hold bug is happening again! :O
After holding for awhile (a lot longer than 4 more moves unlike last time), when you press tab, the piece either disappears, or randomly gets placed down, sometimes even within other blocks. O_O

Might want to take a look :O

GREAT JOB THOUGH

I found an error D:
The blocks sometimes overlap each other! O.O
And also, that ^^^ :P

Is this when the blocks are all the way at the top?  Because then he already knows.  The only overlapping I've experienced was from the teleporting held block after holding it too long.

i love the off-kilter text boxes. they give the game a fantastic feel.
how responsive is it?

What is an Off-kilter box? ???

@jimbauwens glad the game is responsive on it. I wonder if it's the same on the CX models...

i'm not sure where the phrase is from, but basically i was referring to the way that the text boxes are angled and the border and inside don't quite match up.
Title: Re: ColorTetris
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on November 19, 2011, 02:40:23 pm
Do you mean the borders are not parallel with each others?
Title: Re: ColorTetris
Post by: AzNg0d1030 on November 20, 2011, 12:15:18 pm
Oh BalancedFury was right, there is another overlapping problems that occurs when (usually at a high speed, high level) you try to flip a piece right as it is about to touch-down and stop, so it may overlap the piece it's on top or to the side of.

But isnt that counting from the year you go to school for the first year (idk how that school is called)?
For us, it is 1st grade - 8th grade (lower (=high) school) then 1st-max 6th grade (high school)

Yeah, it is.

Preschool, Kindergarden, 1st grade - 12th grade, then college and stuff
