Title: Devrays, a new space shooter for the TI-84 Plus

Aichi has just released a new amazing-looking space shooter for the TI-84 Plus series (as well as the 83+SE). The game provides 8 level in 4 different zones with a bunch of enemy types, very detailed and smooth graphics and animations, 6 weapons for your ship, many achievements to collect, a highscore list with 6 entries and some challenging bosses. You can see it in action below:

The file is available in ticalc.org (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/439/43921.html) and Omnimaga (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=679) archives. Try to not have heart attacks due to the awesome graphics.

Wait is it me or the spaceship looks like a lobster?

I just noticed that, but the tail would probably need to be longer and the end wider, for it to look like a lobster. :P

But when you have to enter a name for the highscore, there are too many characters, I think.

If this was released a couple months ago back when I was still in Calculus, you'd be my personal hero, Aichi.
Might just have to pull out my calculator to try this out anyway. :p

Also I am glad Ticalc isn't going the same way as Calc.org did a few years ago. I was worried in November and even more in 2011, but they finally got an active news editor. Hopefully he can remain active for a while so they don't need to hire again too soon.

This looks really great! You can see that Aichi put lots of work in it :)
