Title: Discord and Matrix linked to IRC.

Most of you don't realize this, but we have a Matrix (https://matrix.org/) channel and a Discord (https://discordapp.com/) server. For those of you who aren't as interested in joining our IRC server (https://ourl.ca/p/irc), our EFnet (http://www.efnet.org/) channel, or using OmnomIRC on the site itself and would prefer other options. You now have even more options.

Feel free to grab Riot.im (https://about.riot.im/) or another Matrix compatible chat client and hop onto #omnimaga:sorunome.de.

If you'd prefer to use Discord feel free to join our server (http://discord.gg/KgMTEFy).

Whether you use Omninet, EFnet, OIRC, matrix, Calcnet or Discord your messages will be synchronized between all the channels.

So, all of these channels are linked to one another? For example: OmnomIRC will relay chat from all sources? If so, that's pretty awesome!

Basically. OmnomIRC isn't actually doing all of the linking, we are using a couple other technologies instead of rolling our own. I believe @Sorunome does have plans for integrating it into OIRC in the future though.

I couldn't have worded it better.
The basic idea is to add an OmnomIRC "network" type which is a matrix appservice for linking and has virtual networks so that omnomirc can still differentiate between discord and matrix even though it receives both of those via matrix
