Here comes possibly one of, if not the most important news article in Omnimaga history, about something that could change the face of the TI community forever. Yesterday afternoon, at 3:55 PM GMT-5, DJ_O (A.K.A DJ Omnimaga), who used to run this website, has changed his forum avatar.
This event, that seems like it will never be forgotten by most forum members, has caused a huge wave of shock after it happened and most people could not believe their eyes. "Blasphemous!", TBO_Yeong said, shortly before juju mentionned that he felt "Omnimaga looks weird now." But it was reality: After using the same avatar (http://www.omnimaga.org/images/screenshots/omnimaga_old.gif) for over half a decade (http://web.archive.org/web/20061010103926/http://omnimaga.dyndns.org/index.php?showtopic=336) in the TI community, Omnimaga's founder decided to finally part ways with the good ol' Omnimaga logo from September 2001 as his profile picture, replacing it with his new upcoming music album (http://djomnimaga.bandcamp.com/). He used the previous avatar starting on Omnimaga's 5th anniversary until yesterday and it was a scaled down copy of the original logo (http://www.omnimaga.org/images/screenshots/omnimaga_old_big.jpg).
Immediately after the change, DJ_O started to receive private messages requesting links to his old avatar because people could not live without it anymore. Now the site former maintainer is dealing with a cease and desist letter for psychological damage caused to one of our forum members, although it seems like DJ might be able to resolve the issue with the person directly without too much trouble, as the C&D was apparently sent out of anger.
So in other words, since yesterday, a new era have started on Omnimaga and possibly on other forums too, as DJ will most likely gradually update his other profiles there too. Thankfully, it seems the effects of this event are not as bad as this (http://ourl.ca/13455) or this (http://ourl.ca/3552).

Yeah it was definitively the Omnimaga logo used from Sept 1st 2001 to August 31st 2002.

I simply don't know how to respond to this. This is too much. How can this possibly be a good thing?! What you have done is broken tradition--no, DESTROYED tradition. You have physically assaulted tradition and stole its money and left it to die in the middle of the dark alley you found it in. This isn't just an offense against humanity.
This is an offense against yourself.

Oh ok lol. Actually there's a bit of orange in the axe. It's just scaled down so much that it's hardly noticeable. :P

I made the pic, although the axe was partially ripped and modified from an image used in Axe Parser readme and the moon was just a random moon photo taken somewhere.
