Follow these commandments, and thou shall rise from the dangerous world of RAM to the slightly more guarded world of ROM.Huzzah! I get to be archived! :P
Hahahahah, DJ, you gotta head for geek now! Go go go!I average at around 500 posts a month, so I guess I should reach 100K very soon :P (actually in about 11 and half a years)
Yeah. Back then someone started a rant because he was offended by the presence of a christmas forum skin, due to him being atheist. On the new board someone else complained because someone used the word god in "OMG" because he was christian and I also remember someone wanted us to disallow any slightly nswf adult jokes. Finally things went fine but just in case lol.You should make a christmas skin that is not related to any religion then.
Wait a minute... It was not the Grand Lobster who created the Omnimaga Universe... It was DJ_O!! :oYou really thought it was Netham45? O.O
No, I knew it was you :PWait a minute... It was not the Grand Lobster who created the Omnimaga Universe... It was DJ_O!! :oYou really thought it was Netham45? O.O
I guess it doesn't help that I haven't been admin for over half a year (and only partial admin for over a year). I thought my member ID being #1 would give it away, though.

Actually I don't really like this news post. It feels like people are laughing with christianity. Not really. I'm not criticizing Christianity in any way, nor would I, considering I'm a Christian myself. It started as a joke about Dec 24 being Omnimas because of the epicness of 31337. Then the people on IRC, including me, got carried away, and turned Omnimas into a religious holiday. :P
Maybe you don't but I can't laugh with it. :S
And why is there a member #1336 and #1338 but no member #1337?! O.OStupid spambot stole that spot :P

Our founder, DJ Omnimaga, has reached a new milestone for Omnimaga.
Today, on Christmas Eve, he has reached a post count of 31337.
Due to the 1337ness of this post count, we have proclaimed this day, December 24, Omnimas, a celebration of the one true religion, Omnimagism. We on the holy summit of Mt. IRC have received the Ten Commandments of Omnimagism, and the Holy Calculator.
1. Netham is the Grand Lobster. Thou shalt not have any lobsters before He.
2. Thou shalt not make anything in place of thy Holy Calculator.
3. Thou shalt not use the name of the Grand Lobster, nor the name of the Holy Calculator in vain.
4. Remember Omnimas, and keep it holy. Also spend at least an hour a day programming and worshiping the Holy Calculator.
5. Honor thy collection of calculators, for they were made in the image of the Holy Calculator.
6. Thou shalt not brick nor crash thy calculators, and if one does, one must sacrifice the program one left in the RAM as a repayment. If the crash is more evil, some programs from the archive shall be taken as well.
7. Thou shalt not be with another person's calculator, for that is unclean.
8. Thou shalt not steal another's calculator, nor post their programs in thy name.
9. Thou shalt not lie to the calculator, nor bear false witness to the Grand Lobster.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's calculator.
9001. The game
Follow these commandments, and thou shall rise from the dangerous world of RAM to the slightly more guarded world of ROM. If thou breaks a commandment, thou only need to repent, and sacrifice thy programs in thy RAM.
