The collection is now complete! DJ Omnimaga (also known as DJ_O on the forums) uploaded today the last non-copyrighted song of his rather huge collection of songs he created and produced since June 2002, including old cassette recordings. You can find all the songs in mp3 format in our download section (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;cat=4) (you must be a registered member to access this section) or listen to them on Omnimaga Radio (http://radio.57o9.org/).
In June 2002 until the end of January 2004, DJ Omnimaga began producing various form of trance music as well as some techno, happy hardcore and UK hardcore, using mostly MTV Music Generator for the Playstation 1, but also MTV Music Generator 2, MTVMG3, Digital Hitz Factory (Music 3000) and other music production software. After nearly 3 years of hiatus, around Christmas 2006, DJ regained his interest in music, producing new songs non-stop until today, still creating new songs. Additionally with Omnimaga, he also founded a forum about MTV Music Generator (http://www.mtv-music-generator.com/).
Have some fun listening :)
UPDATE (7/20): Due to recent events, until further notice, all of DJ_O's files in the download section are now unavailable.

He should make some for calc mod
I don't really understand that post :S
-
He should make some for calc mod
Does he mean port the songs to calc? If so, what does the mod part mean?

Well .midi files can be made Axe and TruSound and other software can be used to play some music files, but I'm not sure about .mp3.
-
For .mp3 there's thepenguin77's TrueSound, but you wouldn't even be able to fit one song, methinks.
-
I believe he's referring to the program CalcMod (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/144/14445.html).

I have made DNA downloaders for the archives at dj.omnimaga.org. Download them here (http://xvicario.us/omnimaga.php). For those of you with limited bandwidth, please still seed a little bit ;D
-
Hmm is it possible to change the options for this, such as upload speed, priority (so it won't slow my internet down too much) and other stuff? The problem is two people are using my connection so...
-
I'm not 100% sure how DNA works with these. According to uTorrent I can't change like almost anything. All that I can suggest for now is to seed just for however long you want then manually stop the connection. No one else is downloading right now so only a very little connection will be used to update trackers, but once other people use the links (IF other people use the links) the connection will start being used. That is the point you should manually stop it.
For now I don't believe its possible to change any settings at all. Except the settings in uTorrent preferences where you can limit how much DNA can be used in a month which is good for people with limited bandwidths.
-
Ah I see. I guess no downloading/seeding when my bro is here or when I play Starcraft, then.
Wouldn't it be possible to simply create a .torrent file? Also I can't open the current file in uTorrent I think because it's an .exe.
-
Yeah someone should totally create a .torrent file.
-
Its a torrent file in an exe wrapper. Just open the exe and it adds the file to uTorrent (seems like it took a few mins to do it :/)
-
And what if you got Mac or Linux? Unless you meant opening the .exe in uTorrent?
-
Well if you have Mac, too damn bad. If you have Linux I am very sorry :( I'll see if I can get a torrent file.
edit: since DNA is a BitTorrent thing (like bittorrent.com) there isn't any support on many (or any) other clients since Bittorrent is no longer open source and there is only a Windows and (Mac) version of the client
-
Yeah torrent would be best IMHO, as it's the standard for p2p I think. Just make sure it's hosted on a legal site, though, so we can link to it on the forums
-
Here you all are. No archives and all of the names fixed! Pick and choose what you want! I will seed until I die!

Attempting to download, but I guess I'll just have to wait for a seed to be online again :P
-
Damn I didn't even notice it stopped seeding. Please resume.
-
Thanks :) I'll try to seed this as well when I get it down
-
Ok I'll try seeding too when I can.
-
I might seed this as well. What are you using as a tracker?
-
I don't know just the defaults that Bittorrent has.
udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce
udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
I might add a few more to it for the hell of it.
