Title: Facebook/Twitter page now notifies of every topic!
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on October 20, 2012, 05:34:13 am
In response to people slowly moving away from forums towards Facebook and Twitter since the past years (especially since mobile phones got more powerful), the Facebook and Twitter Omnimaga pages now notifies of every new topic being created rather than just ones from the news section.

Since in many cases, there are very interesting projects (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?board=5.0) and help topics (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?board=99.0) coming up, people might miss out if they go days without checking Omnimaga due to spending most of their time on social network sites. A lot of those topics originally never made it on Omnimaga Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/omnimaga) and the Twitter one (https://twitter.com/omnimaga). It should also help for when there are news lulls due to staff being busy with other projects and activities.

Sorry...
Nice? Good? Great? :)

Not the fact that the audience is moving to FaceBook/Twitter... But the fact that we try to adapt ourselves.

I noticed this already. I hope it may help boost the activity. :)
