Today, we are happy to add five members to our (http://www.omnimaga.org/Themes/omnimaga4/images/omnimodlogo.gif) team.
-To begin, we have JustCause, a very qualified coder who is working on programs such as Cubes, MFQT, and Omni Emblem. He has been a member of Omnimaga over a year now, knows Axe, and is currently working on a ROM hack of Fire Emblem. We welcome him to the Coders of Tomorrow Team!
-Another promotion is Darl181, who is also a one year member. He recently submitted Dimension Shift to the Axe 2011 Omnimaga Contest, which is a twist on the classic game shift, allowing you to shift and switch dimensions. Now he is continuing work on other minigames. We wish him luck in the contest and congratulate him for making the CoT position.
-FinaleTI, who has been working on an RPG called Nostalgia since the early days of Axe, has also been promoted to the Coder of Tomorrow position. Nostalgia is an Axe game where you can shift dimensions, from the ASCII RPGs of BASIC to the Graphical ones of Axe. Wish him good luck on Nostalgia!
-A platformer genius, leafiness0 deserves the promotion. He recently released Tag, a very promising Axe contest entrant that is very likely to win. Tag is not the only puzzle-physics-platformer he has released, he is also working on Graviter, a gravity flipping game in which you can control the direction of gravity to win the game.
-SirCmpwn, who was staff before, has had his position renewed. He is working on many impressive projects such as tiDE, a z80 assembly IDE; Motherload, a port of the fun flash game; and KnightOS, a third-party OS that features multitasking, game development tools, and more. Let's welcome him back to the team!
Congratulations to our new staff :)

I'm honored to have been chosen for a CoT position. I hope I can take some work off the shoulders of the managers: I'll give my all to keep Omnimaga the awesome place it is and should always stay!
(BTW, that's my art up there :P )

Yea, it seems like a really cool project. I bet if u added functionality for LUA, it would be 10 times greater than what TI can produce in a year. I'd love to have a ported version, to linux that is. What programming language are you writing it in?

I'll answer these questions, but they'd be better in the appropriate subforum (which should be moved back to Our Projects, btw).
Lua support is planned. If you'd like to learn more, take a look a the Detailed Progress (http://tidenv.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Current%20Progress&referringTitle=Home) page.
It's being written in C#.

No. It means you keep smoking Sircmpwns (slang names are comepown, Sir, coding knight, CPN, sweet stuff, Ginger, programmer, etc.) really nasty drug. You're abusing the use of Sirs, not abusing Sir. Surprisingly Sir doesn't smoke Sirs.

And we all know who does.... >:D

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a minute. Sir's not a ginger. I am. Thus, your facts are incorrect and I'm insulted.
Okay, I'm not insulted, but Sir's not a ginger...

I always thought you were about on the soulless side... j/k, j/k

Ginger's are freaking awesome. I'm incredibly attracted to red-headed women.
-
I'm incredibly attracted to cateared women, but maybe that's just me.
-
Congrats to all of the new CoTs!
You guys have definitely earned it! :D
-
/me is glad we didn't give that troll Deep Thought CoT status :P
-
Congrats to the new CoT's. :)

It's weird seeing all this new staff, though...

I agree sometimes there are 7 CoT online *.*

I think some of the COT should be nominated IRC Operators. The forums are very well moderated, but I still think the IRC needs more moderation.
-
Ephan, all CoT (and ARS) members have permissions with Netbot to op ;)
-
*Except me :P
-
You just need to ask Netham45 to give you operator status.
