Title: For on-calc PRGM editor lovers: An assembler for you!
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on January 06, 2012, 01:11:18 am
One and half a year ago, FloppusMaximus released Mimas 0.3, an on-calc ASM IDE and assembler with plenty of features using a custom editor. However, there are some people which, at one point, typed faster in the on-calc BASIC editor than anything else, even a computer keyboard, averaging at 300 words per minute faster than regular means. Now the_mad_joob have released a new on-calc ASM assembler that lets you use the BASIC/Axe editor.

There are a few people, especially BASIC programmers, who always liked the controls and general usage of the on-calc BASIC editor who might still be willing to use it even after they switch to z80 assembly to not have to get used to a new one. You simply write your code in there, then compile your work from a Flash APP called ASMDREAM.

I do rather enjoy it and it is much more fun and easy on an actual calc as opposed to an emulator. I have used it and I can code just as fast if not faster on my calc as I can on computer. Great job!
