Title: Forum reaches 150000 posts.

Tonight the current incarnation of Omnimaga has broken a new milestone: 150000 posts! Since Omnimaga re-opened on August 25th 2008, this is how many messages were posted on the forums. This is an average of 22 posts per day in 2008, 41 in 2009, 239 in 2010 and 370 for 2011 so far. In addition to that, in April we got 11273 posts and 4833258 total requests excluding OmnomIRC shoutbox.

However, those latter totals could have been much higher in April. Unfortunately, Omnimaga was hit by several periods of downtimes and slow loadings during the pre-exams' final activity peak earlier last month, most of which were due to another host customer located on the same server as us being constantly hit by DDoS attacks and more recently due to an OmnomIRC downtime. Currently, those issues seems to be resolved, though.

Besides those milestones, OmnomIRC has received many more updates now. In the links at the top of the shout-box (when logged in) you can now open an options page where several settings can be changed, such as disabling highlighting, enabling colored nicknames, changing the refresh rate and other options already available through the links above the chat. Some bugs were fixed and cosmetic changes occurred, too.

Remember to report any OmnomIRC bugs in the appropriate forum section (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?board=132.0) and to clear your cache prior doing so!

Could you please avoid linking to that stuff in non-spam sections? What if people are writing extremly long messages since about 30 minutes on a forum and get stuck in that rickroll? Not everyone uses Opera browser (where the script doesn't work). I had to rate down your post for that. Plus often those sites got trojans on them.

We had one when we reached 31337 posts and 1337 topics, I believe. It's most likely somewhere in spam/humor. It was in May or June 2010.

In some countries like French Canada and most of Europe, the comma is used as the decimal separator instead of the point and the space instead of the comma as the thousands separator.

120,000/988 = 121,45749 is a confusing mix of both systems...

So either 120 000/988 = 121,45749 or 120,000/988 = 121.45749 would be correct.

That or you completely delete the thousands separator.

Technically they were not made from Jan 1st to Dec 31st, though, so that's not necessarily an exact year, but the 120000s were done in the last 365 days period. Last year at this time we had about 30000-35000 posts total and now we got 150000.

Also in French we don't even use any separator for 1000, 1000000 and stuff. We only use it for decimals. Example, 9999,9999. I often use 9999.9999, though, because I am used to how calculator displays numbers.
