Hello friends,
I have been invited to teach English in Russia this year, and preparation for my trip is leaving me less time to do what a good manager should do. Because of this, I have chosen to step down. From this point on, please do not send me messages that should go only to managers.
However, my time in Omnimaga is far from over. Furthermore, I am now a member of the Anti-Riot Squad, so I will continue to do my best to help make Omnimaga the most friendly calculator community in existence.

That's sad to hear..... :(
Good luck in Russia! ;)
-
Happy for you :)
-
Wow, a job in Russia O.o
Also I want you back as a manager if you come back.
Good luck!

Good luck in Russia :D

Sorry to hear, although I already knew this for almost a year by now so I kinda expected it to happen eventually as you became less active as admin. Glad you're sticking around, though, and hopefully your internet access is not too limited there (like when Barrett did a similar trip in Dominican Republic, where he was not allowed to get online due to some policies) so you are not cut from the rest of the world. Good luck! :)

this sounds pretty fantastic =D
good luck, and make sure you check in often!
-
Good luck in Russia. :D
Hopefully, once you do have more free time and ability to do so, you can return as manager.
-
:'(
Sad to see you go, and hope that you will be successful in Russia!
-
Sad to see you go Hot_Dog. :'(
I wish you the best of luck with everything! :D
-
Good luck with your next adventure :D

Good luck Hot_Dog! I know you have progressed and achieved a lot, ever since I joined Omnimaga I was interested in your stuff, such as S.A.D Alpha (too bad it's not being developed anymore :( ), and your ASM tutorials. I'm sure you'll continue to contribute to Omnimaga and the calculator community, and Good Luck!

Its great to see you getting a job in Russia. I'm sorry you have to step down, but people do have a life outside of the internetz. ;)

I've always wanted to go to Russia... And Australia... But have fun and I wish you luck, comrade! Just be careful, with Putin being re-elected and all ;)
-
@BlakPillar Australia? Woohoo you can visit me on the Gold Coast! Lol
Yeah and the whole Putin political mess is quite disturbing.

:D Though I don't think I'll be visiting for quite some time :(
Yeah and the whole Putin political mess is quite disturbing.
I heard that there was an "assassination attempt" about a week or two ago, and then he wins by 60%? Hmm... So yes, just be careful, Hot_Dog. I have a feeling there is going to be a revolt or two in the near future.

I've already said this to you, but that job sounds really cool :) Have fun in Russia, and hope you check back here once in a while too!
-
Good luck in Russia..
Even though I don't know you very well :P
One question though.. Can you speak Russian? Or can the kids speak English?

Didn't Putin just win nearly 2/3 again for the third time?
-
Isn't that election where the results adds up to 140%?

I speak some Russian, but this is a higher-level class, so the kids know some English. English is a second language in Russia like Spanish is in the United States.

I'll definitely be careful :)

Knew this was coming, and with you being overseas and having to adjust to the new life and environment, it makes sense. It's quite an opportunity you have been given. Not everyone has the chance to travel to the other side of the world. Make the most out of your stay, and don't overwork yourself! Be sure to pack plenty of warm clothes too. :D
