As several members probably noticed a few minutes ago, the TI-81 remake of Illusiat (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=276) was briefly taken down from our downloads section. This was after Juju discovered NSFW content in it, while typing the game code in the TI-81 emulator, and a possible subliminal message implying that the game contained adult material:

The variables N, S, F and W were used as flags for the map engine to define if you can move North, South, East or West in each area of the map. However, since the battle engine was created prior the map engine, the variable E that would have defined the eastern direction flag was already used for enemies' hit points, so the next letter was chosen instead. This combination of variables unintentionally caused a reference to the NSFW acronym, which stands for "not suitable for work". As a result, juju temporarily took down the game from Omnimaga archives to investigate further, in case this was really a subliminal message revealing the presence of innapropriate content. Then he let me know via Facebook (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=12673.0;attach=11832;image), as he was typing the code to try the game. Worries continued to increase when he saw the content of PrgmF, but eventually it turned out it was a false alarm and that the entire game was clean, despite the large amount of X's after each others in some of the latter programs used to generate maps.
So the game is now back in our archives, and I assure you that this choice of variables was not intended to create specific words or acronyms in particular. Hopefully the presence of this in the code was not the cause of the renewed interest in the TI-81 over the last three years.

I loled at the last sentence. I would hope that's not the case. (It would be pretty interesting for that to be true, since it would imply prior knowledge of the source before downloading :P)

Well now I'm worried, the game download page had 585 views since it was put online, even though it's for a calc that was discontinued 12 years prior the game came out. ???

One thing. Maybe this was a warning for the other Illusiat's?
