Title: Metroid II: Evolution now compatible with PindurTI
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on January 18, 2007, 02:09:00 pm
I finally released a patch of Metroid II: Evolution for PindurTI, which can be downloaded in the same page than Metroid II itself http://omnimaga.org/index.php?showtopic=405

This patch is necessary to play the game in PindurTI emulator, because the files in the archive folder were set so when they are sent to the calculator with TI-Connect, they go directly into the archive memory, but PindurTI has a problem handling those flags, so all of them (except xLIB) will give transmission error when you try to send them to the emulator. So instead of sending those files, now you can send the ones from the patch, which will require you to manually archive them, but will send with no problem to this emulator. As they take a lot of memory they won't all fit in RAM at once though, so you will need to do several transfers and archive what you sent after each of them.

Nice :)smile.gif

I'd rather play your calculator version than a regular computer version on my computer anyway.  ;)wink.gif
