As Ndless 2.0 beta reached a stable status, ExtendeD has finally released the final version of 2.0, compatible with OS 1.7, 2.0.1 and 2.1.0. It is available in Omnimaga archives and will soon appear on ticalc.org as well after they finish processing the pending queue of 149
quadratic solvers files that landed there all of a sudden.
Ndless 2.0 download link (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;sa=downfile&id=598)
If you find anymore problems, please report them in the Ndless sub-forum (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?board=136.0).
Hopefully, a solution for OS 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 will be found eventually.

So this is the stable version? Great job! I have to update my beta one.
-
I get a "non approved" error when clicking the link...
-
Er... let me check. I was sure ExtendeD files were approved automatically (like last time)
EDIT Weird, not anymore. Anyway fixed. :)

Ndless v2.0 for TI-Nspire
http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=598
Ndless combines a resident program and utilities to open the TI-Nspire to third-party C and assembly development. The installation of Ndless on a TI-Nspire is required to be able to run assembly programs.
This version is compatible with most OS versions until v2.1.0. Ndless is distributed under the Open Source Mozilla Public License (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Public_License).

Great! :)
Thank you very much for your hard work.
-
Woops, I forgot about the auto post, lol. Merged so we don't have 3 threads :P

Yes, I've just been able to get to the file download page a moment ago...
But now when I'm clicking the link I'm getting again "This download is not approved yet and you do not have permission to view it. "
-
Yes, thank you for your work ;)

There's not difference with the latest beta. The release is just to make this version more accessible.
-
Let me be more precise:
With this link, I can get to the file download page.
http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=598
But with this link, I cannot download and am getting a "non approved" error...

Uhm Critor it works perfectly for me. I even tried while logged out. You may need to restart your browser and clear your cache, else it might be a problem on your browser's end.

Thank you for checking.
It worked with IE :P
-
It doesn't work here either, even after manually reloading the page.
-
Like me, you should try another browser.
-
Tested in Opera and Firefox latest versions, worked fine. IE is no longer supported on Omnimaga, but it should work. I don't know about Chrome.
Does it work now? If not, then it might require you to clear all your browsing history or something. I know I have issues with cached MP3 files, for example. Sadly, I can do nothing since this seems like a problem on your end...
EDIT:
Mozilla Firefox 4.0.1: Works fine, both when logged in or as guest.
Opera 11.11: Works fine, both when logged in or as guest
Internet Explorer 9: Works fine, both when logged in or as guest
Chrome 12.0.742.91: Works fine, both when logged in or as guest
-
Firefox Nightly (7.0a1): doesn't work, either logged in or as guest. JavaScript activation does not matter.
-
It worked for me in Safari (WebKit)
-
So it's a Linux issue, then?
By the way I tested under Windows 7 64 bit.
Sorry, I give up. I have no clue how to fix this, because it works fine for me. Could you PM Eeems and Juju2143 and report the issue so they can see if it can be repaired? I unfortunately no longer have FTP access.
Else, maybe ExtendeD could re-upload it as new file, then get a staff to approve it. If that still doesn't work, then I'm sorry, but you will never be able to download Ndless again from here I'm afraid.
I'm considering ditching this forum and leaving it to other admins because I'm tired of all those issues and I'm simply not a coding person.
EDIT: Tested under Firefox Nightly 7.0.1a1 under Windows 7 64 bit and worked fine as well, even after clearing my cookies and cache. Does it happens with other files in the downloads section?
-
This is great to hear!
-
Don't worry, DJ, I compile Ndless myself anyway :)
I was just trying to reproduce critor's problem.
With Firefox Nightly, it doesn't seem happen with other files which I had never downloaded previously; Chrome 13.0.782.15-r88529 doesn't make a fuss downloading it.

Good work, everyone who contributed to this! I will download after I move to Washington, my cal is packed away right now. :(
-
This is wonderful to hear!
I should probably now release nPlayer, as the only thing preventing me was I was too lazy to compile a version that worked on Ndless 1.7! :)
