SO AWESOME!!! I need to make sure I get a nspire before another update. :)
Why do you need 3.2 w/ CAS and 3.6 w/o? Couldn't you just use 3.6 w/ CAS?i have a nspire cx and not cx cas and usually need cas, except for exams ;)

Just want to be sure if i get a non-cas ti-nspire cx between hardware revisions a - i I will be able to use nLaunch to run os 3.6 cas right?
its a relief really, especially since i had been nlaunching 3 oses: 3.1cx cas, 3.2cx cas and 3.6 cxYou don't necessarily want to remove 3.1 since it has less bugs, is faster (except about Lua images), and gives you more RAM, according to that post (http://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14085&p=159155).
now there will be more space since i will remove 3.1 :D
yes!!!!!!!!!! this is what i have been waiting for!!!!!!!
but i have one question: should we use 3.1 if we still have it instead of 3.6?
Will Nover work on this? I tried putting it on Ndless 3.6 but it said it only reads tns files... but the nover file was a tns file...What? I don't understand what you wrote...

The latest Nover version should work fine, as it doesn't have any os-specific code in it IIRC.
Ndless 3.6 isn't reboot-proof. You have to install it everytime after you rebooted.

The tutorial I linked to explains this.Ndless 3.6 isn't reboot-proof. You have to install it everytime after you rebooted.I see what you mean... do you know when this will get fixed?
as far i know it is fixed if u have the new nlaunch even if u only keep only os in it (instead of two) because nlaunch installs at every reboot :D

Thanks for the link, after I get to step D8 and the message "Operating System not found. Install OS now." appears what do I do?
D8) Send then the parent folder file matching your calculator model:I don't understand what its telling me to do... parent folder file?
- CX CAS: 'nlaunch.tcc'
- CX: 'nlaunch.tco'
- CAS: 'nlaunch.tnc'
- Nspire: 'nlaunch.tno'

u have cx cas
so u go to cx section
then cas
then nlaunch.tcc
drag that file to the software :D
I did that, but I return to "Operating System not found. Install OS now." error message. An error message also appears on my computer saying I should try again…

ncapture doesnt work on 3.6. just so you knowyeah its hooks but doesn’t work :(

When you're reading this, on the computer you should be in a 'CAS' or 'non-CAS' subfolder.
So you go back to its parent folder where you'll find the required file.
If the calculator goes back to the "OS not found" string, then something went wrong.
You should restart part D.
should i upgrade to ndless3.6 or keep useing ndless3.1?

@The_King (hking1) Great ! :D
Any comment on the tutorial ?
You’re one of the first one to use it, so it would be quite useful to improve it for future users.
@Streetlrus
No, you still cannot Nlaunch OS 3.6 CAS on a non-CAS Nspire.
3.2 cas can be used with nlaunch if ur hardware revision is not J+@Streetlrus

What is the latest cas os that a non-cas cx can run?

are there any cas features that os 3.6 has that os 3.2 doesn't have?
don’t forget the boot programming and anti- ndless stuffare there any cas features that os 3.6 has that os 3.2 doesn't have?
I don't think so. I think it's just colours and formats that are changed a little. Check out here for more details

Also, as mentionned on TI-Planet (http://tiplanet.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14084&p=159154#p159154), a new version of nLaunchy (2.4) is out too! It lets you run multiple OSes on one calc, as well as Linucx. How might one determine what HW revision someone has? My CX says 2109010383 P-1211D

First, because I don't like having to apply this each time I boot my calculator
First, could u tell me how u dual booted the CAS OS and the non-CAS OS?
I posted this also on TI-Planet.The extensions required have already been put into ndless 3.6. Just download that from here http://www.ndless.me and there's nothing to worry about. Custom files are not required
it seems to me that the OS included in the 3.6/3.1 switching pack does not allow custom ndless.cfg files. Can I do this in any way?
Is it possible that you do not spam this post everywhere ? Thank you.I believe it's a spambot, so that might be a "no".
