Those who had a forum account on our Invisionfree board (http://z9.invisionfree.com/Omnimaga/) between April 9th 2006 and January 1st 2008 or the temporary site (http://s1.zetaboards.com/Omnimaga/) until March 4th 2008 and who would like to keep some old personal messages or retrieve important information that they might have lost there should do so as soon as possible, as this is their last chance. On May 1st 2012, the old boards personal messengers will close permanently, meaning that all your old PMs from before August 2008 will never be available again.
Although the information in those PMs is very old, we decided to leave the old board messenger open for usage for a while for those who would still like a chance to read or backup their old messages (especially if they contains calculator artwork, code or something like that).
Note that on the latter board, however, your inbox might be filled with spam, due to the February 2008 anonymous raid, so it might be harder to find stuff (especially that on Zetaboards it was impossible to delete your PMs). Also on the Invisionfree one the PM system is incredibly slow.

Oh wow I cannot believe there has been no comments to this news article. Then again, it isn't really relevant to many people. I wonder if there is any other way to back up these PMs but also shutting down the forum site.

Yeah true. Plus maybe not a lot of the older users cared. On top of that it was sent to them via e-mail too anyway.
As for backing up the PMs it's not possible, because for that we would need the passwords of the old Invisionfree accounts.
