Now that Ndless for the CX is officially possible, people who got a closed alpha-test copy have started to port their old Ndless 1.0 and 2.0 programs to the new version for newer OSes as well as the TI-nspire CX! Below, you can see a video (by Adriweb from TI-Planet) of the Game Boy Color emulator gbc4nspire (and Super Mario Bros Deluxe) running on the TI-Nspire CX:

As you can see in the video, since the CX no longer has the same blurry screen that the older models featured, this means the emulator frame rate could be upped without hurting gameplay.

There are more pictures from calc84maniac thread:

Besides gbc4nspire, the image tool mViewer, which allows you to view images larger than the calculator screen (with zooming in/out and scrolling abilities) has been ported as well!

I was gonna post about this, but it looks like I was beaten to the punch. :P It's really great that programs are already being ported over to the CX. Even better is that the color screen is of much higher quality. I'm very interested to see what new things the community will come out with once the new version of ndless is available. =)

full color doom anyone?

List of stuff I need to do before September:
1. Finish the Emulator of the Casio Prizm (in active development)
2. Finish the the SH3 asm IDE/assembler/linker program (in active development)
3. Create a partial Java virtual machine  for the Prizm (not started)
4. Create Axe for the Prizm with an Axe legacy mode (in planning phase)
5. Develop a large set of C and asm libraries for the Prizm (some progress)
6. Create an emulator of the 83+ for the Prizm (not started)
7. Create a well polished game that showcases the ability of the Casio Prizm (not started)

You have TI-Boy SE if you want (but it won't have colors)
I own: 83+ ; 84+SE ; 76.fr ; CX CAS ; Prizm ; 84+CSE
Sorry if I answer with something that seems unrelated, English is not my primary language and I might not have understood well. Sorry if I make English mistakes too.

it might be a stupid question, but will sound be supported via the gnd an thx ports of the nspire cx cas with ndless 3.0, or another port, because that would be soooo awesome :)

well, euh sound might be a big word, but you can get 'sound' with the thx and gnd pins at the backside
see topic here

but i was wondering if it might be possible, i really don't know and now don't start hoping it will support it, cause it probably won't i think

If its possible with Lua, its possible with Ndless :)
I'll probably make a music player when Ndless is out.
The quality will also be better :)
