Old website news back up!
« on: August 10, 2005, 04:28:00 am »
Finally, the news from the http://omnimaga.earthforge.com/index_v3.html are back! Converting them was easier than expected and didn't took too much time, even if there was 72 news to convert from HTML to IPB. So you don't need to go to the old website to read the old news anymore, unless you are nostalgic.

Backing up the old news has caused a few problems though: first, since I cannot alter the post dates manually, I had to insert the date manually in the topic descriptions, also all old news showed up above the new ones in the news section so now I had to flag the new Omnimaga website articles as important topics, so they now show up above and until I post 6 more news items you'll see old news on the portal (like the Illusiat 12 now avaliable in english, Jake Finley causes Error 1337, Zelda: The Revenge of Ganon and Antidissasemblage news article). Don't worry, everything should be fine soon. :)smile.gif

Netham45, since I sent you the timestamps of the original news, now you can fix them (although I don't know how long this might take). I guess you can decrement the topic IDs too afterward, so you can move those news out of the pre-Invisionfree era sub-forum. Changing post IDs might not be necessary, although I could be wrong. Might want to change dates first, in case you accidentally other topics or something.
