Title: Omnimaga adds topic sharing widget on forums

For those who like social networks such as Twitter or Facebook, it is now possible to share Omnimaga topics with your friends or social network communities directly from the forums. Simply open the topic then hover on the new "Share" button in the topic title bar to the right, above the post rating. It also includes the ability to share topics on many other websites such as Digg, Reddit or Myspace. You can click more for many others.

This might hopefully make it easier for some of our users to share interesting discussions or showcase their work with their friends or followers and let Omnimaga become more known outside the TI community in the process.

In the future, we may attempt adding this on every front page news.

Just wondering, is it possible to make it match a bit more with the theme?

By the way a few days ago I tried a different mod that matched the theme more, but it was extremly intrusive and the Digg button did not work in every browser. Like 30 buttons appeared inside posts instead of at the top of the page, so I ditched the idea. D:

Personally I don't have fb or anything, so I probably won't use it either :(

I like it. I might use it sometimes but probably not since I'm the only person i know IRL that plays with calcs and computers for programming.I know lots of gamers though so I might.

EDIT: I tried sharing this on facebook and it could not decide what to use as the thumbnal it picked up allof our avatars and images in our sigs and asked me which to use. I hose DJ's avatar since it is most omnimaga like.

Thanks, and yeah Facebook picks random images from the site, mostly avatars, it seems. (which sucks when I tried to post relevant icons on Facebook Omni page and mostly internet meme avatars showed up in the choices.

Oh, you are free to use my avatar as you wish. If you refer to Omnimaga-related stuff, it's almost the perfect thing, anyway, because my Avatar is actually the original Omnimaga logo:

That logo was used from September 1st 2001 to around the same time in 2002.

Yeah, although it's nowhere close to being as bad as it was a few years ago. It would crash every few page load in anything other than Firefox.

I always use Firefox so I wouldn't know about that. I hate some of their new things like enter to submit comment. I always type multi line things and that really messes me up. The theater is slow loading and crashes sometimes

As for M$ Most of those sites usually don't work in IE either. They only work in FF/Chrome most of the time.
