It's that time of the year again. The program of the year awards voting is offically open now. Head over to www.ticalc.org (http://www.ticalc.org) and vote for your favorite 68k POTY! The Z80 voting should be opening shortly after.
-
Hurray! It's too bad there weren't more programs featured this year. :(
-
Yea, that really is a shame. Ah well, always next year to look foward to! ^_^
-
Yeah this is quite sad. There were not a lot of projects in 2007 so the results were lack of entries. I had Metroid II: The Last Chozo, but this was simply a major update of Metroid II: Evolution with more maps and items, nothing more. I also think they were a bit strict on features and not checking the sections often. I had to e-mail them in order to get Nitacku's Bowling noticed. 2009 looks more promising though

I hope everyone votes on Ultima V !
-
at least there were some notable projects this year. it would be terrible if nothing showed up, eh?
-
indeed, if around the time Omni closed Ultima would have got no progress for several months alerady I would have been pretty worried there, since I didn't really expected Egypt. If the community is to never get more active than right now, I wonder if one day ticalc.org POTY will not become something awarded every 2 years?
-
I voted Ultima V. It looks like next year will have more releases (though people usually say that every year).
-
Yeah true, altough last year, before Omnimaga old forums closed Ultima progress was quasi-non-existent, Halifax was MIA and most other projects didn't seemed to be nearing completion. Maybe some will slow down but I do hope the dozen of amazing projects in the work will not all die completly x.x

I dont want to count my chickens before my eggs hatch, but we have at least 5 asm projects expected to be released + countless basic!
-
true. Also it appears they featured IndestructoTank now. Missed the news cuz it was posted at the same time than the POTY one, along with a third news
-
Yes, IndestructoTank is pretty sweet (saw it on UTI). And that dungeons and dragons game look cool as hell too!
-
i played the original indestructotank when it came out. pretty fun ^_^
