Title: Random Axe and not-so-Axe stuff
Post by: DJ Omnimaga on March 28, 2011, 03:16:56 pm
Juju2143 has made an online tool (http://julosoft.net/ti/getkey.php) using TI-BANK's TI-84 Plus key images that allows you to get the Getkey, Getkeyr or direct input values of each calculator keys and key combinations for BASIC and Axe languages. The keys are available in both French and English, but keep in mind that since the images are hosted in Europe, this tool might take a while to load for most North Americans.

Besides that, the first few third-party Axioms are starting to appear on Omnimaga forums, with Runer's LCDkit (http://ourl.ca/9952) and Iambian's Pucrunch Decompression and Tools (http://ourl.ca/9960), which adds themselves to the MemKit Axiom that comes as example with Axe Parser (http://ourl.ca/4060/190519#new). Axioms are ASM libraries meant to be used in Axe programs in a similar way as other Axe commands. The programmer simply has to define a few arguments or parameters before calling the routine. Basically they're some sort of extension to the Axe language that doesn't require putting hexadecimal assembly code inside your source code.

As for site updates, Juju's getkey code finder and Omnimaga URL shortener (http://julosoft.net/omniurl/) has been added to the miscellaneous (http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=ezportal;sa=page;p=7) page.

Finally, outside Omni TI-Freakware replaced their forums with a new one (and a new design) that is hosted on their web space, replacing their long-time Invisionfree one (http://tifreakware.ath.cx/). The Invisionfree board will remain online, but to participate in discussions members will have to go to the new board (http://tifreakware.net/forum/).

Sounds neat!  I'm glad there's finally some Axioms coming out, and juju, that's epic! ;D

(DJ, I edited your post to fix the link to Iambian's Axiom.)

Also, nice stuff there. (Including mine :P)

Juju's software is great and the Axiom Libraries are very cool indeed too.

Juju do you think the getkey/URL shorterner will return soon? They're down ATM. ???
